"We've had Abide to our home for both asbestos and mold remediation. The first time through, they remediated textured paint on our ceilings and closets; the second pass, they gutted all the exterior walls, which had asbestos-containing dry wall joint compound, and they did so without damaging the ceiling. They also removed all of the mold-containing insulation. The quotes were prompt and reasonable, and the work has been without exception professional and clean. We really appreciate how careful they were and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."

"Jon came by for a consult to look at some ugly looking black staining that was growing in my basement. He was very professional and punctual and thoroughly explained why it was not mold, but harmless mildew and how to rectify it. I was so appreciative for his integrity and honesty and I will absolutely use Indoor Environmental if I ever do get mold in my house."

"Great work from a great company. Communication was direct and easy. Asbestos tile was removed safely and very quickly. Highly recommend!"

"My technician Tanner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After looking at my home and surveying for mold, I decided to have the air tested which he did right then and there. I am still waiting for the results but it was nice to know we had no mold issues."

"Rey was amazing. Very thorough and detailed, explained things very well to me. I would hire them again for any mold testing and/or remediation needed."

"Excellent, professional, and fast service. Most affordable of the quotes we received on the work we needed to have done. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing asbestos removal."

"Eric and Garrett were highly responsive, communicative, and super easy to work with. They helped me navigate what ended up being a much larger, rather complex project than merely mold removal, but I would absolutely work with them again if required (no offense guys, hope its not required). Just hire these guys if you have any mold issues, it's that simple."

"We had 7 different firms stop by to take a look and give us an estimate. MKJ construction was the last firm we scheduled to come by, and thank god we did. We ended up hiring them, because everything fell into place: they had the lowest cost estimate, the most and best reviews on Angie's list, and they had already done work on a colleague's condo, so we knew we could trust them. We also liked that while others quoted us a higher price for just scraping, MKJ replaced the window and door casings, as well as windows (which we wanted, so that dust doesn't get generated through the process).

John stopped by first to give an initial estimate, and a couple days later his colleague Darren stopped by to take measurements for windows, and be able to give us an exact quote, so they were the only ones who stopped by twice. Throughout the whole time, John was very reachable, both by email and phone (call or text), and I have never had any issues getting in touch. They were able to fit us in their schedule very soon after the estimate, just about 3 weeks later, as we needed to order a special window for the bathroom which no one carries in stock and takes longer to arrive. They said it would take 5-7 business days for us to be able to move back in, which included their work, as well as the final inspection and waiting for the report, and indeed, we didn't need to wait any longer, even though we asked them not to work on one of the days as a favor to our neighbors. They did a great job, exactly what they promised, and everything looked great, we got new wood window and door frames, a couple replacement windows, and everything looked professionally done. We found the condo as clean as we had left it.

Overall, we were very happy with the whole process. Learning that we needed to delead and not knowing how much it could cost, was a scary and stressful first stage, but after finding MKJ and hiring them, our worries went away and we knew we would be in good hands. We were happy to know that our place would finally be ready for the baby we are expecting. We would definitely go to them again if we needed any deleading in a future place, or recommend them to any of our friends that need to delead.
