"I would use Aaron Painting again; however, there are two small items that need to be followed up on, which I advised Aaron about a couple days after completion of the project."

"We had to do a siding repair because of a plumbing leak . Bob came out and did the bid the job in the pouring rain. He gave us a very competitive bid right away with no game playing. We are extremely cost conscious so every penny counts. His crew came out and was scheduled to take 6-8 hours to do siding and painting but with the crew boss Rolando's great communication and oversight they had it all buttoned up like nothing had ever happened in under 5 hours. They even spent the last 30 minutes cleaning up the work area and triple checking to make sure all nails had been collected out of the driveway. I was impressed! I will certainly recommend Turnkey Painting Plus to my friends and neighbors."

"I was recommended to Marty. I was not sure of his work. The day he came to give me an estimate, the first thing he did, he handed me his business card and introduced himself. Marty put on some shoe covers to keep my home clean (I'm selling it). I was VERY impressed. The day of, he was PROMPT!! Marty came and did ALL my honey doo's. I will highly recommend him. I had plumbing, sheet rock, electrical and some painting. Marty did it all. I was very happy and satisfied with his work. Thanks Marty... Marty went out of his way to finish all my work... with all his equipment. Very helpful, funny, and respectable, I give him a "10" Stela"

"Meeting project manager Aaron from Home Masters until the job was done has been nothing but pleasant. Aaron sent a project proposal for painting the exterior of our house as well as fence and gate repair and replacement with a line item of exactly what they would do along with the cost which was significant but reasonable. We went over the contract together and he answered all my questions. This way there would be no communication problems later. The painters were amazing! Very polite,(didn't smoke or waste time), very careful to protect our landscaping. Did a thorough job and made sure I was pleased. Can't say enough good things about them and the work they did. Our house looks great. The crew that did the fence work were also amazing. Unfortunately the day they needed to work the weather was chilly and wet, but they kept on working until they finished. They made the design of the new fence portion look just like the original. It's a great job. We couldn't be more pleased."

Customers say: Terrific value
"Eric did an outstanding repair on a heavy vanity light fixture which lacked proper support. The fixture was not secured to a stud and Eric removed a section of drywall, added a horizontal support, replaced the fixture, drywall and painted. The quality of his work is amazing. We will call Eric for all of our future jobs around the house."

Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.
Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.
Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.
You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.
Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.
Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
