Our cabin was extremely weathered and they carefully caulked and prepared the the siding to receive the stain. Great job! They were careful not to over-spray or to get stain in unwanted areas. "The Mar Painting Group did a wonderful job painting the exterior of the house! The price was comparable to other professional painters, and they were very detailed in their work - pressure washing, replacing rotten wood, filling in gaps and cracks, and painting siding, fascia, trim, foundation, and the bottom of the gutters. The paint job itself looked exceptional when it was finished - only a few places where the trim around the windows wasn't a perfectly straight line, but I'm pretty picky. And even though I found some places that needed a bit of touch up when I looked at the finished product, they were more than willing to do what was requested. The owner was a very down to earth guy who seemed honest and genuinely wanted to do a good job. The only complaints I have are that they didn't move everything back up to the house that they moved originally to paint it (I forgot to point that out before they left), and they left a pile of the rotten wood they removed. If I had brought these things up, I imagine they would have come back and dealt with that, but I figured I would just deal with it because it wouldn't take too long."

"Billy went above and beyond on some of the prep work, helping me pull up carpet before he painted a basement floor, and spray painting my storm windows for a very reasonable price. There were also a couple of beams where they made a decision that did not seem to be the color I would have chosen to match the trim, and Billy re-painted those couple of items without charging me. When it comes to application of the paint, painters think like painters and I think like a long term Homeowner, so you have to be on your toes during the negotiation on details. That said, Billy is still better than most, but you have to slow him down enough to make sure you are getting everything to the level you want it, number of coats, glazing, mildew resistance, etc."

Started work about 0830 every morning and until 630pm, five days straight. High quality work, very professional and friendly staff. Owner Elias on site most days also working, and came back on Saturday morning for follow-up/QA. I WOULD RECOMMEND at the highest level! Trustworthy and punctual, which quite frankly, is hard to get in Ellijay! Use this company, they are great! I was recommended by my real estate agent, then was given two reference that called.
