"My sisters and I hired Mike while working to prepare our father's home for sale. Our father had recently moved to an assisted living facility and our goal was to have the house ready to sell as soon as possible. I found Mike on Angie's List and I am SO glad I did! We hired Mike to repair and replace tile in two bathrooms. But, we quickly learned that Mike's skills extend far beyond complex tile work. As the renovations continued, Mike did a variety of jobs for us including painting, plumbing and woodworking, Mike is extremely easy to work with, flexible, and a terrific problem-solver. Our dad's home is about 35 years old and presented us with a variety of unique challenges. Mike was our savior, offering solutions. and going way above and beyond what we asked of him many times. Don't let his company name fool you - Mike knows a great deal about many aspects of home repair and renovation. He is flexible and great with timelines. Since my sisters and I do not live in the area, Mike became our eyes and ears at our dad's house as a variety of repair people arrived to do their work. He is trustworthy, kind, and reasonably priced. I hope you can see from this review that we cannot recommend Mike Lipiner highly enough!"

They did an outstanding job on the painting, paying attention to details, like smoothing imperfections in the wall we we did not even notice. They were great at providing suggestions on paint colors when we asked their opinion. The kept the house neat and protected at all times, and cleaned up before they left for the day. Our house has very high and streep pitches that they maneuvered like pros. We could not be more pleased with the results and have received numerous compliments. "We had the entire inside of the house painted. Lee appraised the job and was very helpful. Spiro managed the job and we couldnâ t have asked for a more accommodating guy. Great paint job by Elmer, Jose and Hernan. Very professional and responsive. We picked the wrong black paint for the banister (not black enough) but Five Star quickly got the appropriate black paint and our staircase looks great. Would definitely recommend this team."

"Sheldon and Sons did an amazing job on my kitchen. I chose to not only paint the kitchen walls but paint the original kitchen cabinets instead of getting brand new cabinets. I’m glad I did because the way the cabinets were painted made my kitchen look brand new with only half the cost. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. "We had Phil from Rafferty Painting here for the last 1.5 days. He made a 5 sided angular box around a fire sprinkler head, covered it with drywall and painted it to perfectly match the wall. He then fixed cracks in the ceiling and painted it to match.(others said it couldn't be matched). He arrived on time, cleaned up after himself and was very friendly and courteous. The final price was comparable to estimates from other contractors and we are happy with his work. I don't know about the other painters/carpenters at Rafferty but I would definitely recommend Phil."
