"Excellent!! Brad Matejek and Carnival Painting were superb!! Highly recommended. They were one of five contractors I contacted for bids for the work. His bid included all the elements I wanted and was among the lowest cost bids. I selected the brand of paint and his guys got to work, painting all the exterior trim, vertical siding above rock walls, door and window lentals, and front and back porches with columns and railings. They replaced an exterior door that had a water damaged frame and sill, and also painted a small storage building. After a series of weather-related delays (September and October wettest on record in San Antonio area), his crew got to work and completed the work in less than four days. It included power washing to remove mold (the crew also washed the rock exterior, the sidewalk and the outbuilding). They were very professional, cleaning up as they went and making sure there was no paint drops. I was in contact with Brad frequently but felt very confident in his on-site crew. They were courteous, addressed my questions and concerns, and got the work done in a very professional manner. I'd hire Carnival again - in fact, I've already referred a friend to them for his painting needs."

"Juan and his partner, Francisco did a great job at restaining our fence, inside the yard and out. They arrived right on time, had us choose the stain color, and while Francisco power washed the entire fence, Juan went to get the stain. They were both very personable, funny, and were very focused on their work. I would definitely recommend them for any painting job that you might have. The price was great (after some very expensive estimates) so we felt confident Chacun Painting was the right company for us."

ACE Drywall and Acoustics responded to my search on Home Advisor immediately, even though it was a weekend. I sent ALEX pictures of my damaged areas (the leak stained two ceilings) and he offered a bid. ACE scheduled me immediately and the rest is history. Alex was exceptional. "I appreciate Alan discovering problems with original house construction where flashing had not been used next to gable and roof that was causing the gable and fascia to rot out. He knew how to correct the problem. The work was well-done in a timely manner. Everything was finished as quoted: caulked and painted. Price included Steel door (not cheap) for pump house and everything else except paint and door handles. I feel Alan is knowledgeable, does a good job so I will hire him again."
