"We hired Cliff to paint every inch of the interior of our house. He explained, in detail, what the process was, what he was going to do and the materials he would use. He was informative, communicative and did an excellent job. He painted every cabinet, all the trim in the house, all the doors and the walls. Our house is now beautiful! Cliff is very professional and is a master at what he does. His attention to detail is a rare commodity nowadays and the finished product is wonderful!! We could not be more pleased. And to add to the great work, we got some pretty good conversation out of him as well!"

"The process started with Dakota Hove uncovering my needs, budget and desired outcome. Very confident in his company and support team he worked within my budget and followed up with me before during and after the process, I then worked with Lexi their color specialist who helped me pick the most beautiful colors that brought my vision to reality perfectly. I was turned over to Kurt O’Donnell my project manager, who delivered on the promises made? He worked with me to find the perfect stain for my beautiful wood beams and gable roof, insured that the exterior paint as well as the interior paint was nothing less than perfection. Jose and his team were so polite, skilled and left my home spotless. Everyone involved exceeded my expectations. Worth every penny. Thanks so much,"

"This team did a great job on staining my two decks and chairs and balcony. They were responsive on the phone. They sent over someone knowledgeable and walked me through all the options of stain opacity and color. They also set me up with a color consultant to help me choose colors. They did a power wash and then stained with a team of five to ten people, getting it done quickly. Phoenix did a very thorough job with the walkthrough and her eye was sharper than mine, spotting and fixing any missed spots. My decks look great. When it comes time to paint the exterior, I'll use them again. The had like 8 people out here working simultaneously for a day and a half. When I think about how much I paid for all that labor, I feel that I got a fair value."

"Did a good job painting but clean up could have been better. Left some small paint spots on carpet and small stain marks on deck below stained railings"

"We needed a couple small jobs for painting and Tony was able to help us. He painted a hallway that had some serious chipping paint and painted our kitchen ceiling and walls. His quality of work was outstanding and price was just right. I would highly recommend Tony."

"I am extremely happy with the painting work that was done! From start to finish, my pro was professional, on time, and very detail-oriented. They took their time to prep the space the right way and made sure everything was clean and protected before beginning. The lines are sharp, the coverage is perfect, and the finished result looks amazing. They listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. I truly appreciate the hard work and care put into this project. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing painting done!"

FAQs for painting projects in Franktown, CO

Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.

Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.

Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.

You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.

Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.

Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
