Out of curiosity I wanted to get a number on the cost of painting my vacation home in the panhandle. Unbelievably, he said OK and the next day he showed up to give me an estimate. "I hired Ben to strip, re-stain and seal two wood deck porches. We had a little trouble getting connected as he was leaving on vacation shortly after coming to give me an estimate, but he was diligent about calling (even from the mountains while he was gone) in order to keep in contact. When we finally did get started, the fellows he sent to strip the decks were both professional and courteous, and took care in not allowing the stain being removed to stain the surrounding areas or the pool. The re-staining and sealing went well, and was completed when I was out of town. His prices were reasonable, and the work was done well. The only thing I might have wished is that he suggest the floors be sanded after being stripped, as there are a few places where the new stain looks rough and as though it didn't take quite as well. All in all, however, the porches look great, and I would recommend Ben's services with confidence."
