"Getting our house repainted became quite the experience with Hedlund. Started off great, easy to work with team eager to make us happy. Ended with salt in our mouth, feeling like pulling teeth to get them to finish project they had started which took almost a year to complete and only if we stayed on top of it. Team was easy to work with on planning with details easy to understand and pricing inline with competitors. Primary paint days went good even when we changed color of gutters and trim after first day of paint. Had many touch up issues and team didn't appear to have much attention to detail on our project as multiple call backs as we continue to find issues. We did have a issue with Hedlund on the cost of the change paint requests since a written quote was never provided for the change, instead a bill twice what was discussed was presented at end of initial painting. We also had an issue with an entire side of our house and paint drying oddly, like a surfactant drying issue. This is where the frustration started with Hedlund as first we were asked to wait a few months to see if the paint would just fix itself. Then it was lets get the paint company out to see what the issue is. Then it was blame the siding on the house. Then it was lets try some alternate solutions. Then it was we forgot we hadn't completed your project for 6 months and never once attempted to stay in touch with us. Then it was alright you keep bugging us and contacted our owner so we will come back and work on this issue plus the new issues shared where paint not even a year old is already cracking, peeling and calking also not holding all around our house. Finally the one side of the house that wasn't finished was finished a year later along with all the new issues but when the cracking of paint on our back deck was redone it was done with the wrong paint (house paint not deck shark skin paint) and done without covering the below brand new concrete patio resulting in paint drips all over our new patio. A crew member came back out and poured paint thinner on our new patio and told us to just leave it for a few days. It ended up staining our patio in multiple places. Hedlund's response was "oh sorry". We were able to power wash most of it out ourselves thankfully but still can see it in some areas. We really like the paint color of our house. The way this company worked with us just got worse over time which was disappointing and frustrating and results in us not being able to recommend them to anyone."

"After I met Stuart, the owner of Summit painting, I knew I wanted to hire him for my painting needs. He was very professional, knowledgeable, competent in his line of work and just a really likeable guy. I was very comfortable with him and knew it would be a good fit. We discussed the scope of work which included painting and staining of a brand new stair case (along with interior walls) and he understood my expectations. I received a very clear bid from him that outlined in detail what the job included and any potential additional charges, which I appreciated. When painting day came....I couldnt have been any happier. His guys were amazing. They were on time, extremely professional, friendly, clean and tidy, efficient and amazing painters. They all worked so well together. I just have to say I was amazed at how much care they took to cover and protect all of my furniture. I just hand my kitchen remodeled and they were meticulous in their care. I am in love with the paint job and I am so glad that I trusted my gut and went with Summit painting. "These guys are great! I have a few cabinet doors that needed to be painted to finish up a kitchen cabinet refacing project we started before we moved into our condo. We reached out to multiple people to get a quote for painting just a few cabinet doors. We were on a budget, and I didn't think we'd be able to get the work done until we could save up more, but these guys are so nice that they offered to work with us on our budget - it truly felt like a Christmas miracle (I may have teared up, it was so kind)! They did a great job painting the cabinets and turned them around in just a couple of days, even though I told them they could take their time. In the future, we hope to repaint all the walls in our home, and I will reach out to Color Cat Painting when the time comes!"

"The crew started with a large 2-story 1975 wood house that had been badly scrapped & painted multiple times. Mario arranged for a skilled carpenter to re-build & replace rotten wood. His crew worked tirelessly to sand, fill and paint with a white semigloss paint. White and semigloss showed every imperfection. The crew went back to re-sand and re-paint spots. They repaired the stuccoed chimney. It was a labor intense project. Today, the house looks beautiful. Mario gently listened and then executed my detailed request. Mario is professional and easy to work with."

"We had our 17 year old custom cherry kitchen cabinets painted in a week (69 doors/drawers and the boxes along with a wine rack). Shawn and his team were courteous, professional, clean and on-time. They tented the whole kitchen from floor to ceiling along with papering the trail to the front door and bathroom. They also used our garage for their prep and paint booth so they masked the entire garage along with papering the floor and build a small paint booth in the corner for containment. Shawn supervised the team along with working side by side with them to help mentor the team. There was an issue with the initial paint type so Shawn went to the supplier to get more information which led to a change in the product (a better product) and the paint sales rep came on site a couple of days later to check on us during the project (not just Shawn). Towards the end of the project the team spent time to make sure there was no over-spray on the existing walls and did some touch up where a previous painter had missed some spots. On the last day when we were putting the doors/drawers back on the boxes, Shawn noticed a couple of areas he wasn't happy with and resanded and sprayed those doors. At the end all of the tent and masking were hauled off site and floors wiped down leaving no trace that they were ever there! Shawn and his team did an amazing job and we already have friend that want them to paint their cabinets!"
