We discovered water damage caused by undetected leaks. This lead to a complete replacement of the cedar shake siding, window and door flashing replacement and exterior painting. All with a hurricane breathing down our necks. The work was completed in a very short window and was done at a high quality level. "While the house is very nice and seems well built, our concern is the builders responsiveness to issues. Our home is still under builder warranty and yet I can not get a response from the owner to address a few minor items. Now I am sure they are busy as all builders seem to be at this moment, that does not excuse the lack of communication. Not only have we as owners tried to reach him, but I have also the Sellers Agent (his Agent) as well as our agent to try and assist with making contact. To this point, I am filing a complaint through the builders association to try and get ahold of him to address minor issues that probably could be resolved in an hours time. Extremely frustrating but by the same token, we cant continue to hope for a return call that appears to not becoming."
