"Erivan and his team were super responsive and responsible and great to work with. They did really high quality work for us, and I loved the result. They have been painting for years, and were referred to me from a friend who had them paint his historic Somerville home with many details. The team was always on time, and they were great problem solvers when things inevitably came up (we ran out of paint, for example). I was also impressed that they painted all the trim perfectly without painters tape :) Their work included doing some light spackling of wall cracks, and removal of shades before they started. Finally, they were super fast!"

"Brian and his team were great. Not only did they do a great job painting, but Brian had us leave all furniture in place and his team moved it to paint and moved it back in place before we got home. Extremely helpful for those of us that don't have time to be rearranging furniture morning and night. They also assisted determining where some stains were coming from by removing drywall and replacing it, in an awkward area of the ceiling. They repaired and looked like new. They went above and beyond to make our house look like a brand new home— from carefully caulking cracks, painting window shutters and the garage and front door columns too. Paul checked in with questions along the way that showed how conscientious he is— from painting an exterior AC unit (an eyesore previously) to the exterior foundational wall color selection and even removing gunk around a basement window— he took his time and the work was thorough and beautiful. We requested that he strip paint from one of the columns holding up our deck to match the other columns and the result is amazing— looks exactly like the others. "I worked with Sandro and Color Matters Painting on several exterior projects and a minor repair on the interior that resulted from water damage. Living in New England the exterior of a home takes a beating and needs near constant repair. I recently had the roof and windows replaced in our home and needed to tackle the last project. Much of the trim around all the windows, dormers and chimney had been severely water and snow damaged and needed to be replaced. Sandro and I walked the whole house and worked out most of the repairs needed. He marked everything he could see and would change order anything that was missed. I also decided to stain the whole house along with changing the color of the trim to match the replacement windows. Sandro was quite busy, so we had to delay the start for several weeks, but he started the project on the agreed upon day and finished the exterior staining/trim painting project in a few weeks. After completion I decided to have him also repair our deck and stain the back and front decks and the pergola. As mentioned his team also repair a minor plaster hole that result from a bathroom remodel done a year before by another contractor. Sandro and his team were very professional. Communication was prompt and kept me update on any changes to the scope of work including detailed changes to the quote as necessary. Nothing was a surprise at the end of the job. I would recommend Color Matters Painting for anyone looking to do interior or exterior repair and painting. The work was top notch. I will definitely hire again should it be necessary."
