Small jobs welcome

"Jose and the Flash Painting team were fast, very reasonably priced, and high quality for an interior paint job at our house plus a (very high) restaining of our house's second story soffits. They showed up on time and completed the work on budget and on schedule. The house looks great! They were much more reasonably priced than several of the larger painting companies around Tulsa. Would definitely recommend."

"I just bought a house and was on a deadline to get it move in ready, and I realized I needed help! They texted me same day, I was able to send pictures and get a quote, they were able to come the very next day and painted my entire kitchen, bedroom and living room within 2 days. I was very happy with how quickly it happened, and the price was good too!"

"Provider showed up on time even on icy roads. He was courteous and efficient - going to work right away. The job, albeit not large, took only 4 hours and included covering all furniture and taping off all trim. His work was outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Tulsa Christian Bros again - they provide an amazing value in home painting!

"Andy and his son just completed a project for us. They removed popcorn and painted the ceiling in a bathroom (part of which was 18' high) and painted that bathroom. The cost was less than other quotes we received. Since we were on a roll, we also had him refinish our front and back doors with stain and paint and install a grab bar. They were great to work with, Andy returns calls promptly and arrived when he said he'd be here. We're pleased with the job and would recommend them both."

"They did an outstanding job. They did little things like painting my mailbox, rusty power box and pipes by the air conditioner. They did a fantastic job matching the paint color I wanted. They were very professional and friendly. I immediately connected with them when they came to do estimate. I didn't need to see anyone else. I'm so happy I hired them. Great Team, Great Job."

FAQs for painting projects in Coweta, OK

Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.

Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.

Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.

You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.

Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.

Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
