"We spoke with several contracting groups before hiring Enamorado Painting. We could not get the other companies to send quotes within the timeline they stated and they were unreliable with communication. Enamorado Painting was great with communication and was reliable. They always showed up and completed the work within timeline given. We hired this company to perform drywall work and painting and they did a grade A job. We highly recommend this company ð"

"The service provider got in touch with me quickly to provide a free on-site estimate and book the work.  The sales rep even showed up to get the painters to work (albeit a late start) and returned about halfway though the job to ensure things were going smoothly.  The painters worked efficiently, but unfortunately did not provide the level of quality I was expecting for the price I paid. The edging was done well, with few exceptions, but the rolling was poor and left several heavy spots, and drips on the walls and carpet.
The painters patched small nails holes, but not very well.  Every single patched nail hole is still visible.  I didn't expect these to be perfect, but honestly I can do a better job, and I would have had I known.  This is not the quality of professional painters.  They also purposely painted over anchored screw holes left over to hold curtain rods, but instead of protecting the holes, they just painted them and kept going.  A simple ask if the holes were to remain would have been nice, considering they didn't patch them, I figure they knew to leave them intact.  They also painted the exposed wires leading to the hallway thermostat, another sign of the painters' poor quality.  5 extra seconds to keep from rolling over these wires would have saved me time in having to clean them up before replacing the thermostat.
I have provided similar feedback directly to the company with ZERO follow-up from them to view or fix the poor workmanship.  I have waited a month to provide this feedback with the hope of being contacted by them, but to no avail.  Therefore, my overall feeling toward this company has declined and I wanted to express that in this review.
This company seems large with several/many painters-teams to do the work, so your experience may differ.  In all, the painters and staff were friendly and professional-acting, but did not conduct the work to a professional quality.  Combine that with no follow-up offering from the company to fix their mistakes, I would not recommend them to others.

"We had water damage to our bathroom and bedroom and were in a fix. We needed to have sheetrock replaced. We called Mudzilla and Corey took the job and he came and did the job in a very timely manner. The walls look perfect. He even put the crown molding back and had it ready to paint. Corey is very professional and is a hard worker. He did a great job and I highly recommend him."

Small jobs welcome

"An Excellent job done. Valeria is very meticulous. She took her time to make sure the job was done right the first time. She repainted the metal room and re-stained the gazebo. Everything looks brand new. My wife and I are extremely happy and will definitely hire her again."

FAQs for painting projects in Savannah, GA

Most homeowners opt for semi-gloss or high-gloss paint to make the baseboards stand out against the walls. If you’d rather keep things subtle, matching the wall sheen with eggshell or satin also works well. When your trim has nicks or dents, reach for a flatter, matte finish—it hides minor imperfections better than a shiny coat.

Stripping old paint from trim costs $1 to $3 per linear foot. Pros use specialized tools and techniques to lift away existing layers without gouging the wood, then prep the surface for a fresh finish. While it adds to your budget, proper removal protects the molding and sets the stage for a smoother, longer-lasting paint job.

Tackling the baseboards first often leads to crisper lines. Painting trim first lets you tape off the boards instead of the walls, so you’re less likely to splatter color where you don’t want it. Any stray marks on the wall get covered when you roll on the final coat, making the whole process faster and tidier.

You can absolutely paint baseboards in place. Leaving them installed avoids the risk of cracking or misaligning the boards when they’re reattached. With thorough cleaning, light sanding, and careful taping, a pro—or an experienced DIYer—can achieve a sharp, factory-smooth finish while saving you the hassle of prying off and reinstalling trim.

Painting almost always beats replacement in cost. Swapping out baseboards runs about $150 in DIY materials or roughly $1,100 with a pro, while repainting costs about $50 in supplies and $1 to $5 per square foot for labor. Unless the boards are warped or severely damaged, a fresh coat delivers the same visual upgrade for a fraction of the price.

Paintable caulk and wood filler are the go-to fixes for nail holes in baseboards. Wood filler sands flush for a glass-smooth surface, while caulk provides a flexible seal that won’t crack as the house settles. Either way, patching those tiny divots before you prime ensures your finished baseboards look seamless.
