"Washington State Paving installed my new 3450 square foot asphalt driveway in early December. They removed the old asphalt and added a solid base. In the process they discovered a sinkhole under the old driveway. Andrew and his crew were very resourceful in coming up with drainage solutions. It did cost extra, but it was well worth the price. My new driveway is a work of art. WSP is an excellent company. They are industrious, creative, and keep to the timeline. They communicate well and are easy to work with. My new driveway is solid, the edges are aligned, and the side drainage swale complements the landscape. I am most happy. Three of my neighbors also contracted with WSP, as a further testimonial."

When quoting the bid and then performing the job, they were punctual, reasonable, professional, responsive, and communicated well. It was great to work with someone who let us know the time they would likely be on-site and then followed up with a phone call that day confirming when they would be arriving. They arrived when they said they would and did an excellent stripping job of the fire-lane that was very professional looking. When someone vandalized the stripping job by painting over parts of it with white paint, they arranged to restripe the fire-lane by withing two days of our calling them. They cleaned up the mess at a reasonable charge and did a beautiful re-stripping job that was as good if not better looking than the original one! "I couldn't be happier with the finished product and I am a tough customer!  I had planned to have my driveway re-poured with new concrete and called a few companies to provide bids to add pavers on a side portion adjacent to the driveway.  I was hoping to add the pavers to improve my drainage so my existing sump pump wouldn't be overloaded by rain during the winter and continue to flood my garage.  Ray was very knowledgeable and asked why I was choosing to add concrete instead of pavers for the main driveway.  I didn't think I could afford to pave the entire thing and I don't live in a fancy place so didn't care about the aesthetics.  He said he would give me a bid for the whole job and one for just for the portion I was asking.  When I looked at the numbers it wasn't very much more expensive to do the pavers and it looks amazing!  I even decided to do my back patio just to have everything done.  He didn't pressure me and just provided the facts to allow me to make the decision that was best for my job.  He even helped me brainstorm on ways to improve my drainage based on his past experience.  The job was completed in March and his crew took care to work around the heavy rain days so no debris would flow into my existing sump pump.  Plus no wet garage since the work was done.  I rarely write reviews...something has to be really good or really bad.  Although the price wasn't cheap it was very competitive with other companies and the quality was top notch.  Thanks Ray and the NW Patio Design Crew!"
