"We were very pleased with the skill, hard work and professionalism of Guerra and Son?s. Our home had not been painted in several years. Thus, some major upgrading was required. The interior of our two story home (except 2 bedrooms and master bath) had drywall repaired and was repainted. Additionally, cabinets in our laundry room and in an upstairs bath and one new exterior door were repainted. The crew worked very hard and stuck to the work over a two week period. We chose SW Emerald paint. What a difference an experienced painting crew can make. Additionally, we had the crew replace mirrors, lighting fixtures in two bath and a vanity in one bath. "The remodel went great. Joe and his crew were friendly and prompt. They did the work in a timely fashion and were very good at communicating about the project. They did an amazing job transforming our bathroom. They replaced a vanity, walls, put in a tub and tiled. They also laid vinyl flooring and installed lights. We were impressed and thrilled with how quickly they worked and with the finished project. We would hire them again for another renovation. Please check them out."

"Sheila and her son Eric were prompt, efficient, and fast when painting our kitchen and stairwell in September of 2014. We were very pleased with the work. Sheila even came back to take care of touch-ups. At that time, Eric offered to remove our exterior window shutters, take them home to paint them, and then reinstall them, as he stated on the invoice. We paid him fully when he returned with the shutters. Due to some work on the windows that needed to be done first, Eric said to call him when that work was done and he would return to put up the shutters. Since then, Eric has ignored 3 phone messages left for him. A call to Sheila, who showed concern at the time, also failed to produce a response from Eric. Now, four months later, we have managed to get some of the shutters back up ourselves, but we cannot physically handle the last four, so we must find/pay someone to do that for us. As a result, our feelings about the company are not positive. Although the interior painting work was commendable, our review has been lowered due to the subsequent problems with the shutters.

"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

"Highly recommend for your interior painting needs in Peoria, Illinois! Amazing experience from start to finish. We went with Blank Slate at the recommendation of a contractor after getting several quotes. The quote was fair, they were able to get us in earlier than we expected and the end result is amazing! Our house had a lot of damage from previous owners. The trim was in bad shape, the walls were also rough and the entire house needed to be painted from top to bottom. It looks like a brand new house! Communication is amazing as well. We will use them again in the future!"

Wonderful job on both the painting for the development, and the staining of my deck. Probably the best quality painting that we have ever had in our development. From the beginning, the work, work order, estimate process, etc. was handled in a top knotch way. I have had a number of contacts with the company's owner, Colby, and he has shown himself to operate a well run company.He is very businesslike, returns calls promptly, and has people there when he promises.  I also had dealt quite a bit with Josh, who directly supervised the overall process. Josh is very cooperative, understanding, and very helpful. He always came through on his committments, and it made for a very pleasant experience.

The painting crew, led by Arturo, was by far the best group of painters we have used. I got many comments from other homewoners in the development who were very impressed with their work. They are meticulous in what they do, and the final product shows it.
