Enamel paint can says to prime bare wood before top coat. Job bid for 2 days and finished in 6 hours because they only allowed 30 minutes drying between enamel coats. Paint can says dry 4 hours between coats. Maybe will be OK because it was a warm dry day. Won't really know if job will stand up for a couple years. Based on 3 workers for 6 hours, allowing $100 for paint that works out to over $90 an hour. Even with overhead that seems excessive and I feel like I am overpaying for what actually occurred as opposed to what was bid."
