"Ray and his crew of painters were punctual and polite.  There was a crew of four painters in our house for about a week and a half, and they did an excellent job throughout the process.  Ray was very helpful when I was choosing colors, and had samples mixed so that I could see them on the wall.  Because he did that, I changed several of my colors and I was really pleased that I did.  The results are terrific.
Possibly the trickiest part of the project was painting our wood handrails and tread on the stairs.  We'd had our hardwood floors restained to a different color; so that left the question of what to do with the rails and tread upstairs, which had matched the old color of our floors.  Ray's painters applied a glossy dark brown paint to the rails and the tread, and painted the spindles a bright white.  The results were stunning.  The painters even arranged to come do the rails over Labor Day weekend when we would be out of town, since that particular type of oil-based paint takes longer to dry and has more of an odor.  We really appreciated the fact that they went above and beyond to get that done.
Since I was doing a whole-house facelift, I asked Ray if he could also install some new light fixtures and change the hardware on our doors.  It was a very time consuming job, but Ray did it himself and did a really nice job.  We may need to put him on speed dial for future projects."
