"Wilbers Painting company did an excellent job painting my gutters/downspouts and trim around my front door. I also had my front door stained which did not come out to my satisfaction the first time and I showed Wilber a picture of the door and he came back and re-sanded the door and re-stained it. Overall the entire experience was very pleasing.  I managed to get a very quick appointment for an estimate, and the interior was measured within twenty minutes.  I had the estimate by the end of the day.  My estimate was done on a Friday, and they were able to start painting by Wednesday.  The work was completed in five work days.  The work looks very professional, and they did a great job repairing the nail holes and other minor imperfections.  About the only complaint we had was that one of the painters left a banana peel on the floor at the end of one of the work days (covered by a tarp but still).

"The only issue I have is recently 3 spots have appeared in the tub here the paint is coming up. It has only been 1 year and 4 months since they performed this service. I repaired it by getting a $7 kit from Lowe's and it seems to be holding up so far."

"Job was bid as 2 days, prime bare wood, paint 2 coats enamel. Price seemed fair for that work. The good: workers on-time and pleasant, all surfaces were well sanded, final finish looks good. The uncertainties: no primer in sight. Asked painter and he said primer only used on new cabinets not repaint jobs. There was some pealing and bare wood exposed on cabinet doors. Enamel paint can says to prime bare wood before top coat. Job bid for 2 days and finished in 6 hours because they only allowed 30 minutes drying between enamel coats. Paint can says dry 4 hours between coats. Maybe will be OK because it was a warm dry day. Won't really know if job will stand up for a couple years. Based on 3 workers for 6 hours, allowing $100 for paint that works out to over $90 an hour. Even with overhead that seems excessive and I feel like I am overpaying for what actually occurred as opposed to what was bid."
