"This was the second project we’ve done with Alan and crew. They painted the exterior of our home two years ago, and now almost the entire interior. Everything about the process was exceptional. Communication about every aspect of the job was great as was the workmanship and the clean-up. Getting nearly the whole interior painted at once is a disruptive process, but I’m not sure it could have gone better. To quote our 7-yr old, “Wow! This looks great…. "Don Shin and his AA Painting were dependable and meticulous. Once we agreed to the project with AA, they were quickly available and did the work in one day. Don suggested a penetrating stain for the walls and a brighter, more cleanable paint for the metal trim, which we had originally thought might be matte. Since we were going from a dark wood color to a lighter one, his people did multiple coats. The crew moved all furniture and carefully removed several bamboo shades and brackets (which they later reinstalled). Their plastic drop film and taping work was carefully done to produce a painting job that was literally perfect--not one drop spilled, not one piece of furniture harmed. They were neat, courteous, and professional, both with us and with the staff of our condominium building. In the midst of the job my wife had a medical emergency. Since we saw that the AA people were very reliable, we had no problem leaving them to their work while we ran to the clinic. We are definitely thinking of AA for other projects."

"In spring of 2017 (May) I hired Flanagan Painting to paint my stucco house. I had initially wanted only my trim painted as paint was peeling badly. He explained to me that he noticed cracks in my stucco in both house & garage & he could patch those up & if I would have the whole house painted, he could use a special paint to also help seal the cracks in the stucco. Since I didn’t know the last time the house was painted (I’ve owned for only 7 years) & because I thought a full paint job would help seal out pests of all kinds, I decided to go with his suggestion of full house & garage painting. (I didn’t feel pressured by him at all to do full paint job.) So glad I did! Joe Flanagan & his assistant, Jonathon, did a great job on my house & garage! And at a reasonable price! And with a 5% Angie’s List member discount. He also suggested power washing my wooden fence, which was unpainted & unstained & had turned an ugly gray. He said if I did this, it would look almost new again, with a tinge of the original orange color. He was right! The fence looks so much better. And he gave me suggestions on staining it to maintain it. He also was careful of my perennial plants that were coming up around the house, which I appreciated – I did mark them to help him avoid. They were detail oriented & careful in their painting. He also noticed & pointed out a hole in my eaves which he chased a squirrel out of & plugged up w/ rocks as a temporary barrier. And he & his assistant were both so congenial, friendly & easy to work with! And answered all my questions! I will definitely hire again for any painting work!"

"I would without any hesitation, recommend FreshLook Painting for any of your painting needs. We are relatively new to Minnesota, and didn't have a lot of knowledge about local contractors, but we certainly were pleased that we found Ryan and his crew! From start to finish, everything went well. We are super excited about the brand new look to our house, It was transformed from the 1980's to a modern looking home! Ryan knows what he was talking about! He gave some very helpful guidance on the color selection. His advice was spot on, because the color turned out to be exactly what we were envisioning. He also walked around the house with me and offered suggestions on what to paint the main house color (blue-gray) and what to paint the trim color (white) to help accent certain features, or in some cases, disguise other less desirable features. "He was running significantly ahead of schedule.  When I got home, he had already been by the house and chose which windows to wash.  I was hoping to discuss it with him ahead of time.  Also, it turns out that many of my windows counted as more than 1 pane so the "30 exterior panes" that I bought didn't go as far as I was expecting.  For the price, it was worth it but I probably won't use this company again in the future.

"I've used Dennis in the past and he always does a good job. Our house is cedar and needed to be freshend up. Dennis and Tim came over at 9 am. They covered everything I wanted and started staining. They worked like troopers on ladders all day. They were amazing. If they dripped stain on anything they cleaned it up.
My wife and I took all the lights and accessories off and on the house. All I wanted them to do was soak as much stain into the siding as they could. They finished up at 5:30 pm with only a short break for lunch. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend Nagel Painting.
