"Ed and his team at Maksim Roofing did a wonderful job for us. We have a flat roof that also serves as a deck above an enclosed room that had been added on to the original house. The roof/deck was deteriorating and unsafe. I contacted more than 20 contractors over a two year period, many of whom didn’t want to take on the job due to all the uncertainties, others who told me that the only option was to completely rebuild the entire addition, some who never responded to my inquiry at all. After leaving a message for Ed, I got a return call the same day, and he came to the house two days later. He proposed a solution that he described in detail and he also described his team’s experience with similar structures. I got a formal quote two days later. The project has been completed and we are very happy with the outcome. Every step of the process was conducted promptly, thoroughly, and professionally. We feel very fortunate to have found Maksim Roofing."

"The whole experience was good. The warranty is exceptional The customer service was nice and the guys that actually installed the roof were hard workers. There are only two issues I had. One, the initial consultation lasted 7 hours. Between discussions about the roof to the actual roof inspection. Second. The Forman on the job barely spoke English. There was a gap that had to be overcame for understanding my questions I had. Towards the end, he offered to call someone to translate but that, I felt, was too little to late. But like I stated earlier, the group as a whole worked very hard and the roof looks great."

It couldn’t be nail back down , it needed to be replaced and I had another piece of siding that needed to be replaced, but the siding was to old to match but David the owner did a great job in finding the closest match. "I had a very mixed experience with this contractor. The man who came to do the estimate was very friendly and professional. He sold me on getting more expensive "carbon armor" to reinforce a cracked cinderblock foundation wall as opposed to cheaper steel i-beams because of the nature of our repair, the location of some water pipes, and the proximity to our gas line, Then, when the crew showed up to do the work, the foreman tried to sell me on putting in steel beams for the same price as our original "carbon armor" estimate, stating that the beams were actually more expensive, which is a lie and exactly the opposite of what I was originally told. I can only imagine he tried to do this because he did not want to have to work with the more labor-intensive and toxic materials involved with the "carbon armor." Very disappointing. For the price I paid over estimates from their competitors, I expected not to be swindled as such."
