"The good experience with Raindrop started with the estimate; Lee was knowedgeable and up front with me about the need to fix my chimney before they could do the roof work; neither of the other roofing contractors had mentioned that. When I accepted their bid, but the work couldn't start for over a month, they held the original price even though the cost of materials had just gone up. When they came to do the work, they were courteous and always willing to answer any questions I had about the process. And Ryan, the owner, is a real sweetheart; he came by at the end to check and make sure I was satisfied, which I definitely was. I've already recommended them privately to 2 friends who are ready to redo their own roofs."

"I discovered that I had some extensive dry rot in my roof. I was frantic. I needed to get the roof replaced fast. I called about 8 contractors and left messages for them to call me back so that I could get a bid for repair and replacing my roof. Only three bothered to call me back and all 3 gave me a bid. Two of the bidders said that they couldn't get on my roof until November or December. I had never used Angie's List before but decided to check it out. I looked through the listings for roofing contractors and read the reviews. I decided to call Roof Tech Specialties even though they were located about 60 miles away. I got ahold of Jamie Stepp. He told me that he would come by at 1:00 the next day to give me a bid. The next day at 12:30 he was considerate enough to call me to let me know that he would be about 45 minutes later than 1:00. When he got there, he did a thorough inspection of my house and gave me a bid that was acceptable to me an my wife. I asked him how soon they could get started. He told me in two weeks. I was elated. A couple days later Jamie called me and asked if they could get started on the next day. WOW!! The crew arrived on schedule and went right to work. The job took 3 days and these were the hottest days of this Summer. I supplied the crew with Ice water that was much needed. I will have to say that all of the crew we really great. Jamie over saw the work and worked along with the crew. I am very pleased with the job that they did. They cleaned up after themselves and there was not a trace of the old roofing left any where around my property. I have a two and a half car garage that also needs a new roof and Jamie and his men are going to replace that roof soon. I will certainly be recommending Roof Tech Specialties to anyone else that I know that is needing a new roof.

"We contracted JLV Construction LLC on May 2020, they quoted us a new roof and paint the front and back of the home, pricing, product, and demonstrated workmanship made it very compelling to go with them from the get-go. We went this the CertainTeed roofing system with a 50yr warranty and Sherwin Williams exterior paint. JLV Team was able to do the roof removal and install and 2 days and paint the house the 3rd day. JLV workers and owner were present throughout the entire project, they showed excellent workmanship and professionalism. Everything was very well planned and discussed with us every morning. We had a good idea what was the daily plan and expectations. Team made a thorough cleanup; we did not get any neighbor complaints. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend them to anyone interested in either roofing or exterior painting."

"Our pool house roof dated back to 1958. It was not well constructed and was rotted and literally falling down. Extreme came out and replaced the roof and fixed the sides of the building that were also rotted out. They were fast, efficient, and the work looks great. I would highly recommend them."
Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.
To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.
While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.
When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
