"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. The Home Improvement Co. will be first on our list for consideration. Thank you, Matt, Kevin, and Rueben, for a job well done."

"Neil came & gave us an estimate, told him no hurry, fit it into the schedule. Called & told me he had the doors, we agreed on a date for install. Matt came to install, Neil checked in that afternoon to check progress. Unforeseen issue - needed additional parts. Picked them up, returned next day to finish install."

"We had an older home which needed a complete kitchen and bath update. Our remodeling job required extensive skills in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, cabinetry, finish trim work and painting. "Got on Angi's: Wanted Glass Shower Door Unit installed on Tub. 20 minutes after submitted for help - Matt texted and ask when good time to stop by. I Said in morning, anytime after 9 am. I called Matt next morning, about 9 am - we talked and Matt said could be over in 15-20 minutes (and he was). Matt noticed: Tub had lean. Long story short: More we tore into things, the worse it got !! With Matt's advice (and his co-worker Brad) - ended up: removed Cast Iron Tub, reinforced sidewall studs & base plate, reinsulated, replaced subfloor & interior walls around tub. THEN: Installed new tub & surround. Of course, existing water lines had to be relocated !! Numerous small hurdles came up (during all this). Been hard not to lose patience. Matt & Brad never got upset, were never negative. They'd figure situations out, share info with me & share what they planned to do - to fix it. Not once, did Matt or Brad not include me, regarding any significant repair needing done. Not once, did Matt or Brad complain. After new shower & tub installed - they were finally able to install Glass Shower Door Unit !! Did a wonderful job !! Brad even reinstalled Laminate Flooring that had to be torn up (when replaced subflooring). Matt's work was detailed & proper. He not a "Corner Cutter" - yet, he knows how to do things (that save you money). Matt talked with me about work to be done: before, during & after. We also talked about money: before, during & after. There were no suprises. Matt and Brad are true to their word. Bottom Line: If need help on project in future: Matt will be my 1st call. And I hope Brad still working with him. Good Team !!"
