"The process started with a VKB designer, Sean, coming to our house to look at our bathroom and provide an estimate. A few days later, we went to the VKB showroom and selected our tile with Sean's advice. Five days after that, the remodeling workers began the project. Our project lead was named Jason. VKB left a lock box on the door to our house with our key in it so that we did not have to be at home while they were working. From start to finish the project took 3 weeks. Each day when the workers arrived, they would lay down canvas on the floor from the entrance of the house all the way upstairs to the master bathroom to keep the carpet clean. They would also hang plastic covers over the furniture in our bedroom to protect them from dust. Our garage was used to store a lot of materials, equipment, and trash through the process, so we could not park our car in there. Fortunately, we had easy access to street parking. Each day, Jason would call us in the evening to make sure everything was going okay. He was always very accessible and attentive to our concerns. At the end of the project, our tile selections turned out looking great and all of the finishing details were well done. The custom glass enclosure also looked great and fit perfectly. When we needed to make minor tweaks or changes, Marc and the crew were always open to our ideas and continuously stressed that our satisfaction was their goal. "We originally had four items on our list. Jesse came out for the estimate and did a quick inspection of the exterior and found several items that needed to be addressed. We ended up having the team tackle all the additional items so they wouldn't turn into bigger issues later. Other than a delay in the start day and a hiccup on the first work day, the job went well. Alberto and Javier were pleasant to deal with, respectful, neat and did a great job on each project. They replaced a piece of trim and the rubber seal on the side of the garage door and you'd never know it wasn't the original piece. They painted the trim and garage door and didn't spill a drop on the driveway. Inside, they laid drop cloths leading down to the basement where they replaced a section of drywall. They covered the entire room in plastic so as not to get dust everywhere when they sanded. After patching the drywall, they painted the entire wall so the patch wouldn't stand out. They moved all the furniture and put everything back where it was when they were finished. When they were all done, you would never have know they were here because they didn't leave any mess behind. We were so glad to have all these little projects completed and done well. This is our second time using JW Home Improvement and we would use them again. We would also ask for Alberto and Javier again. They make a great team."
