"Perfectly. Paul Vojt was punctual & very pleasant. He hung several mirrors, pictures and a clock. He hung my garden sink, tarped my shed roof, and fixed the bathroom door in the basement. Placed hardware main bathroom . And was especially nice to my dogs. Nice to know that no job is too small."

"I had a great experience with NB Woodworks after a frozen pipe burst damaged my bathroom and dining room. Anthony responded quickly to my inquiry and scheduled a visit right away. His trustworthiness was apparent with his estimate and clear communication throughout the process. Overall, he was responsive and maintained a clean workspace. Even though it was a small job, he completed it along with his team with exceptional skill! I would highly recommend NB Woodworks."

"Project was to add a motorized Pergola and fan over the outdoor patio area to protect from the sun and rain allowing us to use the space in any type of weather. Materials are very expensive but the end result is well worth it. The whole process was easy and painless, the work was done well and I'm very happy with the pergola. Thank you Chambers Home Design, I would recommend to anyone looking for a permanent addition to your home inside or out! Very trustworthy and honest."

"The owner, Ion, was very experienced and we spent quite a bit of time discussing the project and the various options for getting my desird outcome. The men who came to do the work also worked very hard. But, the problems came in the materials used--I asked for cedar--which were not properly kiln dried. Within days, al the boards began to "cup," which was part of the problem with the old deck (which was 25 years old,so some cupping would be expected at that point). Some of the boards were beautiful looking, while others seemed to be dirty. During the first week, two knots fell out of one of the boards leaving holes. The gate was overbuilt an immediately began to sag. (I had shared photos of gates that I wanted, and which would have been lighter. Finally, part of the design was to keep the original stairs but reinforce by sistering up the stringers. Instead of using one complete piece of wood for each stringer, they pieced together each stringer, making them not as strong or long lasting as they should be. The did rebuild the gate--it took several tries--and wasn't what I had wanted, but I had to accept it and it did work. And they replaced a number of the boards, but not all that needed replacing. A year later I hired a great painter who worked tirelessly to get the wood in a condition to accept an oil coating and eventually we got the deck to look very nice."

"This was our 3rd renovation with NJSA in 2017. It was a cookie cutter Cape Cod with a small living area, a narrow kitchen without pantry and minimal storage, and the worse connection to the backyard: you had to go through the kitchen, then 2 steps down to the basement, then out a side door, then more steps down, then narrow walkway before reaching the big backyard. Such a bad setup with barely any views from the kitchen, laborious and unpleasant for any cookout or lounging, and no way to watch kids play or reach them quickly. A common setup in many houses though. A NJSA sunroom was exactly what this house needed to turn it around, embrace the backyard, triple the living space, expand the kitchen with a large pantry wall now that the addition could easily fit seating and dining, flood the home with light and garden views, let all open spaces flow into a redesigned backyard and completely transform how this home lives. I believe NJSA offers the only modular yet custom - not kit - additions on the US market that are truly rated for year-round living, comfortable both in the coldest winters and the blazing sun, which is why you can remove any exterior wall and fully open your house to them. Most importantly, their lifetime warranty and after sale service should you express any concern are unique. No traditional framing can be completed in so little work/time on your home, with such minimal disturbance, with such easy inspections as all is pre-built as on plans, to achieve such transparency without obstruction... Traditional framing is also susceptible to air and water leaks, mold, need regular painting, etc. And at the end of the day, do you want to pay for materials, months of labor, and continual maintenance, or spend the money on the actual product with the highest specs and a lifetime warranty? Although this 18x17, 306 sq ft addition with vaulted ceiling greatly expands the home, the high thermal rating of the frame and windows, and the super efficient heat pump made the whole downstairs so much more luminous and comfortable, including bringing air conditioning into a home that has no central air. The slim structure allows for maximum views all around over the now easily accessible and enjoyable large patio and backyard, all framed by a bright privacy fence. The winter vistas and rainy days are particularly lovely, as you bathe in all this daylight while confined indoors, and as you listen to the pitter-patter of rain with a hot cup of tea. The pictures show you the before/after of how the house sat on the market for 6 months and our renovation with a superb cathedral sunroom on the West side, however the even nicer pictures show you the renovated kitchen and blue feature wall by the buyer Karina, who absolutely loves her home till this day. This Cape went from a small and awkward house with no space to host, to everyoneâ s favorite gathering place!"

FAQs for shed and enclosure service projects in Millstone Township, NJ

A treehouse stresses the tree, but proper design keeps that impact manageable. Start with a healthy species, use tree-attachment bolts instead of lag screws, and allow room for future growth. A qualified treehouse builder or arborist can assess load capacity, ensure safe fastening, and monitor the tree’s health after construction.

The time it takes to build a treehouse depends on its size and complexity, and whether you choose a prefab kit or a custom design. A straightforward child's prefab treehouse can be assembled in as little as two days to a week. More complex designs can take two to six weeks. Adding features like plumbing and electricity can add several days to the project timeline. Building a fully livable treehouse can take anywhere from several months to a year.

The best trees for constructing a treehouse are strong and healthy with a minimum diameter of 12 inches. Ideal choices include maple, oak, hemlock, and fir trees. If suitable trees aren't available, you can install additional support posts to reinforce the structure. Consulting with an arborist or local treehouse builder ensures your site is evaluated correctly and your treehouse is securely anchored.

A well-constructed treehouse can last anywhere from 10 to 25 years or more. The lifespan depends on the quality of the materials used and the extent to which they are maintained. Applying weatherproof treatments to the wood can help extend its lifespan. Keep in mind that treehouses in areas with harsh weather conditions may wear faster than those in milder climates.

Building a treehouse for year‑round living is entirely possible when you address both the technical challenges and the lifestyle benefits head‑on. This project requires a secure design that incorporates superior insulation, integrated plumbing, and robust electrical systems, while also creating a sustainable, minimalist, and eco-friendly retreat. To ensure comfort and safety, invest in enhanced structural supports and adhere to strict code-compliance measures. Professional consultation is essential to transform your treehouse into a secure, full-time living space that incorporates off-the-grid and environmentally conscious design.

Plumbing installation in a treehouse is challenging because it requires unique, engineered solutions for an off‑ground structure. This project requires custom-designed water distribution systems, reinforced connections, and specialized adjustments that exceed the standard requirements for home plumbing. In addition, implementing innovative solutions such as composting toilets, rainwater collection systems, and graywater sinks ensures safe operation, efficient drainage, and sustainable water usage. These measures, when combined with rigorous adherence to building codes, guarantee that your treehouse’s plumbing system operates securely and efficiently.
