"Not great. They sub'd out the roof repair, which we didn't know. They repaired our ceiling in the bedroom before we arrived at our new home. Then it leaked again right before we arrived and they sent the same roofer over again and he fixed it again saying the water came in right beside the last spot. The guys from JDS repaired our ceiling again and the skylight in the bathroom. Within a few days it rained and our bedroom ceiling started buckling again and water was dripping everywhere, this time on our furniture since it was delivered and we were now living here. We called right away and demanded that our ceiling be ripped out this time and NOT patched so they could see exactly where the water was coming in. We made the roofer they hired come back and fix it right since it was at the same exact spot and the wood under our tiles was soaked. This time he ripped off the soaked wood and replaced it and put a rubber coating over it and put the tiles back on the right way. Then JDS guys came after the roofer used a hose to test the roof for leaks. The guy from JDS only did part of job then said he didn't know how to finish it so he would have to send someone else. Within a few days another guy showed up. He did his part and said the first guy would be back to finish it. Well, he came back and sprayed the finish on it but did not cover up our new expensive blinds or our new bedding or oak desk, or anything around it like the other guys did the 2nd time they fixed it. After we got up the next morning and were making the bed, we noticed white chunks of stuff on our bedding. That is when we noticed it all over our blinds and other furniture. Needless to say we were pretty upset. I called the office and started to cry, partly because this was the 3rd time we had them out to do this work and because now I felt angry that we paid quite a bit of money for all this work at least twice and we just paid a LOT of money for our new custom made blinds and bedding etc and it was all coated in white paint!! We just retired and worked a long time to afford all this nice stuff. I have to say that John (who owns JDS) is a very up front guy and stands by his work. He was notified and he called the guy who did our job and made him call us and come by immediately. He brought cleaning stuff and cleaned everything to perfection. He said if the white paint spots came back that he would pay out of his own pocket to take the bedding to the cleaners and if it stained he would replace it. He also offered to have our blinds replaced if any marks showed back up on it. I have friends that recommended JDS to us and they have always been pleased. I believe that they are just getting too busy and starting to maybe sub out some work and need to be more careful about who they are hiring, not sure. They did not bill us for the last time they were out after all the problems we had over and over. John does stand behind all his work so in that respect I can say they are very honest. I just wish it hadn't taken three times and all the water damage and hassles to get it done correctly. Had we not arrived at our home when we did, we could have had major damage and mold infestation and great cost. Our deck was rebuilt very nicely with no problems during that job."

"Keith and his crew did a great job redoing my 10' x 35' deck. They answered my questions about materials and techniques. The original deck was carpet on plywood boards, which were rotting. I chose to redo the flooring with redwood planks to avoid retaining moisture. Support joists were insulated with waterproofing tape and railing posts were raised on metal brackets, as some post bases were rotting. The planks were painted with a non-slip texture and the railings to match color. They also fixed a rotting section of roof above the deck. Overall they finished in reasonable time and cost."

"This was no small project and this contractor is not typical... a second floor deck around 3 sides of a 6 bedroom house done in a way I could park a car on the deck. Workmanship was 5 star, worked full days, used quality materials and the fit and finish is beyond our expectations. Phil and his crew are AMAZING!! I only have pictures of the two additional projects, one a storage area and the other an eating area built on top of a tree with a 1.5" gap between deck and tree platform to conform to code. Non better to do business with!"

"C2 Moving did a great job! They took the time to wrap all of our furniture in blankets and plastic wrap to ensure nothing was damaged or broken -- and everything arrived in perfect shape!! Definitely a professional moving service, and for the price I got on Angie's list (~$400 cheaper than going outside of Angie's List) it just cannot be beat. My only complaint is that we had our move scheduled for the morning, and about 30 minutes before the crew was supposed to show up I got a call saying that our team had called out or something. We had to be rescheduled to the afternoon, but I guess at least it was still scheduled for the same day."

"My living room had a dark area, that needed light and the main bathroom has no window so it is like a cave.  I called for an estimate and told them what I wanted and where.   I was given an appointment for the estimate and told if I liked the product and cost, they may be able to do the work the same day.  I was happy about their professionalism, knowledge and the way they explained everything to me.  I would very gladly use them again and I recommend them to everyone.   Thank you guys your great!

FAQs for shed and enclosure service projects in Sedona, AZ

A treehouse stresses the tree, but proper design keeps that impact manageable. Start with a healthy species, use tree-attachment bolts instead of lag screws, and allow room for future growth. A qualified treehouse builder or arborist can assess load capacity, ensure safe fastening, and monitor the tree’s health after construction.

The time it takes to build a treehouse depends on its size and complexity, and whether you choose a prefab kit or a custom design. A straightforward child's prefab treehouse can be assembled in as little as two days to a week. More complex designs can take two to six weeks. Adding features like plumbing and electricity can add several days to the project timeline. Building a fully livable treehouse can take anywhere from several months to a year.

The best trees for constructing a treehouse are strong and healthy with a minimum diameter of 12 inches. Ideal choices include maple, oak, hemlock, and fir trees. If suitable trees aren't available, you can install additional support posts to reinforce the structure. Consulting with an arborist or local treehouse builder ensures your site is evaluated correctly and your treehouse is securely anchored.

A well-constructed treehouse can last anywhere from 10 to 25 years or more. The lifespan depends on the quality of the materials used and the extent to which they are maintained. Applying weatherproof treatments to the wood can help extend its lifespan. Keep in mind that treehouses in areas with harsh weather conditions may wear faster than those in milder climates.

Building a treehouse for year‑round living is entirely possible when you address both the technical challenges and the lifestyle benefits head‑on. This project requires a secure design that incorporates superior insulation, integrated plumbing, and robust electrical systems, while also creating a sustainable, minimalist, and eco-friendly retreat. To ensure comfort and safety, invest in enhanced structural supports and adhere to strict code-compliance measures. Professional consultation is essential to transform your treehouse into a secure, full-time living space that incorporates off-the-grid and environmentally conscious design.

Plumbing installation in a treehouse is challenging because it requires unique, engineered solutions for an off‑ground structure. This project requires custom-designed water distribution systems, reinforced connections, and specialized adjustments that exceed the standard requirements for home plumbing. In addition, implementing innovative solutions such as composting toilets, rainwater collection systems, and graywater sinks ensures safe operation, efficient drainage, and sustainable water usage. These measures, when combined with rigorous adherence to building codes, guarantee that your treehouse’s plumbing system operates securely and efficiently.
