"Jeff of Homecraft Builders came to our house and gave us a very fair estimate. Jeff and his team removed the old structures and put in one gorgeous deck!! Oh my goodness, it is so pretty. This deck is going to be our new "outdoor living room." The deck is white with sturdy wide stairs and has grey trek material to walk on. No more splinters! The white deck looks so sharp and certainly increases the value of the home. The deck is exactly what I wanted. I was fortunate to find this company as my neighbor used them as well. I could not be more pleased with the whole process -- from sitting down to talk options, looking at past work the contractor did, discussing price and feasibility, etc. This contractor even went above and beyond to help me since I could not locate my original plat for the property. I would definitely contact this company again if I needed another platform or if a family member or friend asked for a referral for a contractor. "We had had an excellent experience with the predecessor to TrueDecks almost a decade ago so asked for our Ipe wood balcony to be cleaned and re-stained after being away from our house for several years. The customer service is responsive and efficient, although they clearly get busy in the spring/summer season, and also have to account for weather. Likely because the decking was so overdue for refinishing, the first coat really didn't suffice. The crew came back for a second round and the finished product looks excellent, just as dark as I recall from years ago. They were polite, careful, and timely...and also worked independently (only using a ladder to access the second-story balcony/deck!). We were pleased by TrueDeck's responsiveness to our concerns about the first coat and very happy with how it was resolved. (Sort of before and after photos below.). We will definitely use them again to keep our deck in good shape going forward."
