Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. "For a number of years I had been trying to figure out how to get some privacy in our fish bowl back yard surrounded by a 4-foot chain link fence which I fond to be very unattractive. It has been difficult to plant for privacy along the fence because there is so much shade. I had thought about having a nice wood fence built but a six ft wood fence wouldn’t help that much because all our neighbors have decks plus fences seem kind of unfriendly and un-neighborly. That is when I started to observe trellises in other people’s yards and it finally dawned on me that trellises could help accomplish the privacy I was longing for and yet seem neighbor friendly. I started looking on Angie’s List and found GARDEN STRUCTURES & MORE listed. I went to their website a was very excited about the pictures he had posted of their other projects. I called Hal and he came out and we talked about my ideas. He seemed to fall right in with what I was thinking. He wasn’t able to get to my project immediately but he was able to work my job in among his other jobs so the weight was not very long. When Hal and his crew of 3 get going they work very hard and are amazingly productive. By the way digging some of the holes was a nightmare because of the tree roots. They do a lot of the prep work and construction in their shop ahead of time. I am wild about my trellises. They are accomplishing exactly what I envisioned. They are built strategically in the open areas along the fence line on all three sides if the back yard. They are handsome and substantial. Nothing like the trellises you find in the nurseries. I have already gotten compliments from the neighbors. They look nice from both sides of the fence. My friends think it is a brilliant solution. I am already thinking about other projects I want GARDEN STRUCTURES & MORE to do. Perhaps a nice garden shed and maybe some kind of shelter to hang a hammock. I couldn’t be happier with their work and my lovely private garden paradise I am in the process of accomplishing. My thanks go out to Hal and your crew."

"Estimator came and described the fence options.  Competitive pricing for privacy fence.  Contractors completed work per schedule.  After fence was put up cracks appeared in multiple locations and bowing of fence walls created gaps in this new privacy fence. 
Owner came over and observed situation in a few days after contact for these issues, said $100 extra for labor to remove bowed fence walls that were creating gaps.  Not sure why they include this option up front or they could have let me know they were giving me a cheaper option up front (not sure why they would even offer) and then let me know this would have been needed anyways for true quality privacy.  Repair work was done promptly.  IMO its a good price, quality experience was a bit meh, but they give 5yr warranty on parts/workmanship so they'll come back and fix it up in a prompt manner either way.

"EXCELLENT!!!!! Had them pour a 8x4 concrete floor in our basement to cover a soil root cellar. Dug out the soil even lower and hand mixed the concrete with little mess. VERY fast, pleasant, knowledgable and did an overall good job!! Even came out a few days before to give us a free quote onsite; not many will do that. VERY reasonable on price and will definitely send more work their way in the near future."

"Damian and his crew did an amazing job on my basement. I had at least two other contractors flake out on me and I was thinking no one would want to tackle my basement. I had multiple floods in my basement and needed a lot of sheetrock repair. I also needed a stud wall, sheetrock and electrical run for a wall I had to tear down (sump pump and drain tile installed by someone else). They handled the job no problem. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time and I never felt like they were "in the way." The workers were always polite and they left a clean work space. If I ever need more work done I would not hesitate to call them again. I feel like I have my basement back."

"Adrian and his crew did an excellent job from start to finish.  Within a week of signing the contract, they were at my house and working.  They discovered that the original siding did not have plywood or wrap behind it.  Adrian called me immediately, explained the situation that I had to have the wood and wrap behind the siding.  He gave me a very fair price on the additional work and material.  They got the material and started work the next day.   The staff is nice and courteous.  The house looks great! I plan on having them come out either in the fall or next spring to do additional work.  "

"I felt that Jim Carpenter, the owner of the company understood my project and gave me a fair bid.  Randy, the carpenter who did the work, was outstanding.  He is an excellent craftsman.  Another guy (I believe his name was Andy) worked really hard digging up some soil around one of the exterior walls of the shed to enable Randy to make a necessary siding repair.  Jim Carpenter, the owner of the company, was very professional.  I would consider using this company again."
