"My husband and I needed a contractor to reconstruct our front porch which was heavily damaged during the southern California fire in December 2017. We were incredibly lucky to have found Rick Moat and cannot praise his work highly enough. Not only is Rick a wonderfully talented artisan, but he possesses an incredible work ethic that seems to be in short supply these days. Rick had to reconstruct several porch pillars and railings between the posts all of which necessitated several painstaking assemblies of wood. There was also extensive prep work on our porch ceiling, the paint of which had blistered extensively from the heat of the fire. Rick worked tirelessly and painstakingly on each step of the project. He also did a wonderful job of fixing our upstairs porch. We are thrilled with the results of the restoration and cannot recommend Rick enough to potential customers who need detailed, expert work on their home. Rick is very pleasant to deal with and his fees are very competitive. We look forward to having Rick work on future projects for us in the future."

"I couldn’t be happier with Amir, I am glad that I found him. I’ve been dealing with many contractors and they all have been unprofessional, dirty, and they slowly neglect the job to work elsewhere, leaving mine incomplete. I’ve had to be on top of them just to get the work done, they would usually show up when it was time to get paid. I had lost faith with all contractors, that is until I found Amir. He is the opposite of what I’ve dealt with, professional, to the point, honest and works cleanly. He recently paved a four garage driveway. He got the job done so quick, that my head still spinning, not only that, when I showed him the respective area, he took the measurements, got on his phone to run some numbers, and made an impromptu quote. We picked the dates and the job got done. No B.S. no chasing after Amir. DONE!!. He is currently working on a historical home for me. I will come back and add additional details about my experience with Amir once the whole job is completed, but, as of right now, I am extremely happy. The work is getting done, and quickly. The foundation work started with in a couple of days after we signed the contract. If this was a different contractor, I can positively say that I would still be waiting for the work to begin. I am delighted to submit this heartfelt review in praise and commendation of Tony and Mary Ellen Ciaramaglia, owners of TME Construction Inc. In anticipation of the potential ravages of "El Nino", six weeks ago I purchased a full coverage flood insurance policy from my insurance company. However, I neglected to consider the feasibility of placing sandbags strategically around the house to keep the onrush of water at bay from what was to be unpredictable and recurrent torrential rainstorms. So here I was alone and frightened and in the midst of an extremely heavy rainfall which was flooding my back patio and making its way toward the house; the day before the rainwater had partially flooded the garage from a side patio. I hadn't envisioned just how treacherous this storm could be .Fortunately, as a member of Angie's List, I called for a referral listing of recommended businesses to contact. I was acutely aware that precisely because of this bad weather, it would be difficult if not impossible to find someone who could help me out. I will confidently say at the outset: I couldn't have picked more knowledgeable, responsive, and professional business owners to have opted to call. Tony very promptly returned my phone call, immediately concerned about and appropriately focused on which fire department in our community would have enough sandbags on hand for distribution. It is noteworthy that his organization and time management skills are exemplary; he was able to quickly and keenly assess what needed to be done. Keep in mind that loading the sandbags on the truck was not an easy job, especially in this inclement weather. It was necessary for Tony and his co-worker to fill twenty bags with sand - they were not pre-filled. In the interim I called Mary, who with warmth and friendliness, updated me as to the progress of the sandbags at the fire station. Once here Tony checked the perimeter of the house, explaining to me the logic of the placement of the sandbags and with efficiency put them against the house on the back patio. I feel very fortunate, pleased and grateful that Tony had been the one I chose today to help me out. It is evident that both Tony and Mary have the right kind of experience and know-how that will serve me well for all of my future home maintenance, improvement, and construction needs. Without question I know I will be able to rely on their judgment and expertise; they are a complement to one another. As a special kindness to me as a senior citizen, Tony would not accept any money for all that he had done for me today. This wonderful gesture brings tears to my eyes, reaffirming that he and Mary are people of honor and integrity; it will be a pleasure doing business with them in the years to come.

"Isaac went above and beyond on this job. He built steps going downhill along the side of the deck. He replaced the posts and joists underneath the deck and sanded, refinished and painted the pergola. We had our wood slats removed and replaced with custom cable railings which came out even better than I expected. He was very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. He worked within our budget as well. I interviewed about 10 contractors for this job and had a great feeling about Isaac and his company and he was willing and able to do exactly what I wanted. I feel that communication is so important when doing any construction project and he was great at that and letting me know everything that was happening. I highly recommend him and can’t wait to hire him for my next project. I absolutely love the end result of my backyard!"

"My technician, Dan Martin, was very punctual, professional, and efficient. He arrived early and gave me a couple estimates including worst case scenarios so I would have no surprises in case things got complicated. My shower tub’s grouting needed a thorough cleaning due to mold, water and even bugs getting in. Dan was able to remove the shower door foundation while keeping the doors in tact and thoroughly cleaned the shower door foundation, tub and put everything back with new caulking so it all looked brand new! He was very efficient with the time yet thorough in his job and updated me along the way so I knew what he was doing. Quality of work was great but definitely on the pricier side. But well worth it. I would definitely hire Mr. Handyman again in the future."
