"We had an excellent experience over the course of three days. First - the deck: The flooring in the deck in the back of our house had been replaced ten months ago but never stained. Brittney sanded the existing older surfaces and pressure washed the entire deck. The next day she taped and covered in plastic the windows and siding, then hand stained those parts of the deck. The final day she power stained the entire deck using a sold Sherwin Williams stain, then touched up a few areas by hand. Second - the front door. It was a Therma-Tru fiberglass door with a half moon transom on the top. The door was 9 years old. I purchased the Therma-Tru kit a few months earlier. On day one Brittney lightly sanded the outside of the door. On day two she taped interior and exterior surfaces, then stained the outside and inside. On day three she removed the tape. It looked beautiful. Brittney was attentive, asked me to inspect work multiple times over the three days and at the end. Vince, the owner of the business, contacted me by text several times and came at the end to meet me, inspect the work, and collect payment. It was a great experience and we'll definitely use their services again!"

"I still can't get over how pleased I am with this project. I have used many contractors on many houses and SouthEnd Painting was extremely professional from start to finish. Our current house is a 1989 and had not been maintained very well through the years, so we needed quite a bit of carpentry work (reason for the higher project amount, $1500 in carpentry/wood repair). There were many areas of rot on the boards all around the house. The painter found an exact match to the current wood siding. Of the 3-day job, 1 1/2 days were spent on prep and repairs. I have seen other houses being painted in the neighborhood and none were prepped like ours. Every window and exterior fixture was covered before painting. When the exterior shutters were removed, it was obvious that no previous painter had done this before because we could see multiple paint colors underneath from previous owners. They washed and cleaned the shutters before replacing them.
I got 2 other estimates before SouthEnd. Both were higher estimates and didn't plan to do as much. SouthEnd caulked every nail hole on every board before painting. I wanted to make sure that there would be no future issues with the existing boards. I would definitely hire again for any additional work and future work painting the interior. I admire my own house every time I come home.

"1st Project: We had all supplies & needed Christmas tree boxes + about 8 bins of holiday decor lifted to garage shelves and on one side of garage, he installed a board for about 7 hooks for tools & a golf bag & he moved a fridge & freezer about 5 feet to adjacent wall, plus a full propane tank moved from garage to back yard. 2nd Project: Painting small powder room. I had removed nails & filled holes. He removed a small sink from wall, used our paint for one coat of egg shell finish paint. When dry, I had to apply a light 2nd coat to cover thin areas that may have been hard to see with bathroom light. He used no additional work light, which he needed. Cost for each project was based on an estimate...but each project ran about $150 over estimate. $473 for project 1. $ 550 for project 2. The work was OK, got done what we needed done, picked up, did not make a mess, but the cost was excessive, in my opinion. The office staff seem very efficient & they do provide a needed service if you have no other help alternative. I do think the worker, though very nice, moved quite slowly and took more time than I judge was needed + was required to record his time & work detail on a tablet. Excess cost due partly to insurance, bonding, etc of employees. Handyman showed up on time. If we had no alternative, we might use them again for heavy or high lifting work."

Sal let me know he could build and install custom shelving. After a couple rounds of changing my mind on what I wanted, Sal came out and installed the shelving. Sal was very patient, informative and responsive through the process.
