"A few years ago we had Smart Roofing put on a new roof and was very impressed with the quality and professionalism done. Richard was great to do business with so we contacted him again when we wanted siding done. Again, we were impressed with the quality of the product, installation and communication. Every step Richard communicated in a promptly manner. The team he assembled were very professional and mindful of our vegetation in our yard and when the job was completed they did a thorough job of picking up the siding debris. The team communicated through out the entire process and their timeframe of completion. I was very glad they inquire if we wanted our old light fixtures/outlet covers to go back or if we had new ones which I went out an bought new ones immediately. Smart Roofing made an impression that my neighbor used them and had their roof replaced in one day!"

Soon after, we expanded to siding, gutters, masonry, windows, insulation, and solar panel vents for a more complete customer experience.
"I have a huge issue with the aftermath of the construction. Immediately following the work done, the ceiling in one of my rooms developed a very large crack that sagged down. It is very obvious that someone had stepped where they weren’t supposed to or dropped something heavy. The area is now sagging more and opening up to my attic. The company told me that in the contract it states that they are not responsible for any damage to the inside of the home what so ever. READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. I was told that no one will be calling me back regarding the matter. Management has refused to speak to me even once. The only communication I’ve had is with their call center and one conversation with a sales person. I’m just seeking assistance in paying for the damage they caused as it is an expensive extra cost that I cannot really afford. I now have to emergently get my entire ceiling replaced because it’s falling down. I deeply deeply regret going with this company."

I am to the point of calling the BBB as well as Kent County if I cannot get my down payment back. This is fraud if they insist on keeping my money for services never rendered. I went on to the roof to check for any damage to the roof (like a branch falling on it or something).There was no physical damage to the shingles. I called WMR 3 times over a two and a half week period. Each time I was told by the receptionist that "tyler" would be coming out to take a look at it. "tyler" never showed. I got tired of playing the phone game (call them and notify them that your roof is leaking - no call back) and gave up. I will have to fix it myself. THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY"
