"Alan Gaul merged two back to back closets and turned it into s larger pantry. He removed and closed off the two existing doors and repositioned it on the kitchen side. He did an excellent job and made sure everything was perfect and cleaned up before he left. I highly recommend him."

Mr. Handyman showed up almost on time and did a fine job. Patrick was pleasant and went right to work replacing a wall switch in my master bath. But Mr. Handyman is not a suitable choice for small jobs. Although it only took about 15 minutes to replace the wall switch, the minimum charge was $168. I called Mr. Handyman when I could not find my tools. My sister, who took care of me after my stroke, re-organized my home. As a result, I can?t find anything. The job had to be done, and since I decided it would not be a good idea for me to do it due to lingering tremors in my hands and legs, I called Mr. Handyman to do it quickly, despite the price. Even though this is a positive review, it may be an embarrassment when you see the price charged for replacing a switch which I supplied. They are a competent company compared to most South Carolina contractors but outrageously overpriced for a simple job. The name Mr. Handyman is a misnomer in my opinion. You don?t think of a handyman as a corporation with numerous tradesmen.

"Hi Derrick, Robert and Katie, I got home from my Boat Captain Delivery Job on Sunday Night 3 November. Exhausted from four days and nights at sea I spent my first night sleeping in my brand new bedroom. Thank you guys so much. The job is perfect in every sense. I Love it.! "Hired these people twice. First time took over 3 months to complete a siding and roofing job. But gave them the benefit of the doubt due to a lot of weather factors, supplier issues and a myriad of other excuses. Work OK. Hired again to replace some wood trim with Harditrim. Price was exorbitant, taken over three weeks for a -- 1 day job-- their assessment. No end of excuses. Came repeatedly on days I specifically said they could not (Fridays), and worst of all, the quality is horrible. Could have hired much better at the home appliance store for less than half the cost. Will not use again."
