"David Keefe and his work crew did an excellent job on our new roof.  It looks wonderful and they were done in only 2 days!  They put down tarps to keep the mess from the old roof to a minimum and used a metal detector to sweep for stray nails.  Our roof sits directly on top of our raised ceiling made of tongue-in-groove pine, and they took special care to make sure the nails were not protruding through to our ceiling.  The permitting and insurance report for wind mitigation credit were automatically done as part of the process.  Mr. Keefe spent time with us going over the benefits and considerations for the different types of roofs beforehand, and was very knowledgeable about codes and local considerations, as well as considerations related to our specific roof (pitch and drainage). Very professional from start to finish.

"Excellent! From the estimate process through the final walk around, ever person I was in contact with were professional, timely, and clearly knew what they were doing. Roof looks great, clean up was great and at completion, I pointed out a couple of minor items which they resolved on the spot. I even noticed a small tear in a window screen after they left, they had a screen repair guy at my house the same day. Not the cheapest out there (I got three quotes), but you get what you pay for (including a 15 year warranty which no one else came close to). Cost included replacement of 2 skylights, which we are thrilled with. Highly recommend them."

"They are tight and they balance them so that the sun comes in no matter where the sun is. There is no condensation. You can get clear or fogged and I chose fogged so there wouldn?t be a glare. They also do solar panels. The owner comes to the house to meet with you before the worker comes out. He?s a very nice older man. There are no hidden fees, they tell you everything up front."

"Solarshield did a great job with the work.  This was a detailed job that required many bends and cuts to accommodate the skylight curbs.  It took a little more roofing material than anticipated, and when new material came in that didn't match the color
completely, Frank noticed the difference and took the initiative to wait a couple more days for the right materials to arrive. The colors were close, so it was an attention to detail that I appreciated.
I've already referred Solarshield to others, and I have another roofing project that I hope to get started with Solarshield soon.  I will update this review with the results."

"the quote (final price $1200.00) roof repair/skylight replacement process was quick, efficient.  We requested and received a quote for additional lumber and plywood if it was needed further than the original area quoted.  Shingles were not part of the quote as we mistakenly thought shingles in storage were appropriate. Manuel and his brother were pleasant, hard workers.  The aforementioned incorrect shingles were purchased by them (the new ones were almost a perfect match considering the roof is 5 yrs old) and installed within 1/2 hour of purchase from local supplier!  After the roofing repair/installation was complete, Manuel checked the interior ceiling around the skylight and the wall surrounding the slider as he saw extensive interior ceiling/wall damage when the roof was open.  He said that Panda Roofing could accomplish interior repair work as well.  He explained how far back the wallboard needed to be opened to view the underlying beam and support damage.
"Brad" of Panda Roofing gave us a reasonable quote of $2135 to repair the interior area referred to by Manuel.  The work commenced on the day of the quote.  Brad replaced all rotting plywood (There was also extensive termite damage which was remediated before roofing work began), replaced structural beams over the slider (providing proper bracing for the ceiling while the beams were removed), reinstalled the slider, replaced wet insulation and replaced, taped, mudded all new dry wall. 
Important to us, every day the work area was protected and  debris was thoroughly swept up and hauled away!"
