"I contacted 5 solar sales and installations company's, 3 never contacted me, 2 did, and set up 2 appointments. Momentum Solar was the last appointment. "My roof had been damaged in a very severe wind storm and my insurance company initially indicated that it would reimburse me for the cost to patch the damaged areas.  Based on the reviews I had seen on Angie?s List, I contacted Northern Exposure Roofing for a consultation and an estimate.  From the outset Rich could not have been more professional or more helpful:  Rich arrived to review the damage and he also took photographs.  When he learned that the insurance company was prepared to pay to repair the damaged areas only, he offered to contact the insurance company, provide the photos he had taken, and essentially argue my case for more extensive coverage.  After several rounds of discussion between Rich and the insurance company, Rich managed to convince the latter that they were in fact responsible for full coverage of a complete roof replacement ? all this without requiring any additional involvement from me!  Needless to say I was immensely appreciative of Rich?s initiative, his persistence and his success.
 
I should add that while we were still awaiting the final decision as to what costs my insurance would cover, another heavy rainstorm threatened to cause more damage due to the leaks in the roof.  I called Rich with my concerns, and the very next morning he sent two of his men to make temporary repairs to damaged areas in order to prevent further leaking before permanent repairs could be made.
 
But Rich?s helpfulness extended beyond roof repair ? when in conversation related to negotiations with my insurance company, on an extremely hot weekend, Rich learned that I had not yet managed to have my window air conditioners installed, he offered to help ? interrupting his Sunday, he arrived with his brother (also, a member of his company), and they promptly installed my three air conditioners.  This was especially kind and thoughtful, now making me all the more contrite that it has taken me a year to add my review to Angie?s List!
