Sean, the contractor who came out (on a Saturday, which is just a tad more expensive, and totally worth it), called me when he was on the way. He was prompt, he figured out the problem quickly. There was a bit of a water spill as he was bleeding the pipes, but it's an unfinished basement, so nothing to be upset about.
We were pretty sure it wasn't going to be a big problem, and we really appreciated having someone come and look on our schedule. We'll use them again for air conditioning service in the summer.
