"Chandler was professional, showed up when expected and did a great job. My pool cover had come off over the winter and my pool was a dark green mess with tree limbs and debris in it. I was amazed how quickly he was able to get our pool hooked up, with sparkling clear water."

Customers say: Quick response

"We had the BEST experience with Heritage Pools! David and his crew were prompt, fair and meticulous. We had a terrible experience with another vinyl liner installer and were very wary of hiring anyone. David came right out and put our minds at ease. He checked and rechecked our dimensions and our liner install went so smoothly. Super fair pricing. Beautiful finished product. I spent every day in my perfectly heated pool this summer. Any questions or concerns were handled quickly. Heritage Pools went above and beyond. I spent less on chemicals this year than EVER thanks to Davids advice. This is honestly the best experience we have had hiring anyone to do anything. No exaggeration. (New liner, lighting, heater install on inground pool)"

"I hate to ruin their rating, but Stan seemed very knowledgeable when talking to him on the phone - problem is - he never followed up! I have tried several times to contact him through this site and by cell but never get a reply...? Everyone else seems so happy with them so I gave them high marks on all but the customer service. I cannot recommend them! :-( If I hear back from them, I will certainly update my rating!"

"Excellent, Joe is very knowledgeable and professional. He is very responsive via text message which is great for me! He was on time, coached me on new chemicals and how to best utilize them to maintain the life of the hot tub. I would highly recommend him although he seems to be very busy with a long list of current clients. He is 2+ weeks out so I would advise reaching out to him in advance and not waiting until the last minute or you may be out of luck."

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in Portage, IN

Running a pool pump continuously significantly increases your monthly electricity expenses. With a single-speed pump, you might see costs toward the upper end of the average range, potentially reaching $150 per month depending on your pump's horsepower and local electricity rates.

Variable-speed pumps would be more economical even with continuous operation, but would still increase costs above normal. However, 24/7 operation is rarely necessary for residential pools, as most require only eight to 12 hours of daily filtration.

Yes, LED pool lights provide substantial energy savings compared to traditional halogen fixtures. Industry data indicates LED lights are five times less expensive to operate than halogen alternatives, while providing equivalent or better illumination. Though LED fixtures often have a higher initial purchase price, the energy savings and longer lifespan make them a cost-effective choice for pool owners who enjoy nighttime swimming.
