He comes prepared with books, pictures & drawings. He will walk your pool and he "listens to you" as if there’s nowhere else he needs to be. (And he does; this man is busy) You’ll feel like his only customer. After he measures on the first visit, he quickly gets back to you with the estimate and he stands by it. He has no problem showing you his markup because he's fair & honest. He knows the value of building relationships and making a living without straight up highway robbing a person. If you do your due diligence, you will see a big difference when you pick him. He’s far better than the rest, and his work is highly rated in looks AND in durability. "J&M did a nice job of re-plumbing (in pvc) and replastering a 50 plus year old copper-plumbed pool. New main drain, returns and skimmer. All at a good price and far less disruptive to the existing deck and plantings than the other proposals I got. They were very cooperative in letting me locate, purchase and install the new variable speed pump, Hayward valve and LED pool light I wanted. The old pool plaster was soft/hollow so I paid the agreed extra amount to cover that, but the final result was a nice job with virtually no plaster dust to contend with on start-up. Their contracting documentation is rather informal and led to some minor miscommunications. But a nice end result and good value."
