The service was not the cheapest, but when considering the 3 previous factors it was a bargain! He even came back to touch up the stain on all of my doors at no additional charge. 5. Their tiling work is excellent, very clean and professional. Easy to work with and helpful suggestions to make our walk-in shower beautiful. Worked with us and our varying colors of grout we wanted, recommended products to protect the tile when we asked but didn't push anything we didn't need. They were considerate of our household and in and out as quickly as they could be, tidying up after each day and generally keeping themselves to themselves. Happy to recommend."

"Tom installed oak flooring in our foyer to match the rest of the first floor. The install is seamless - matching perfectly. The whole first floor was then sanded, stained and received three coats of polyurethane, The result is beautiful. Before starting, the work area was sealed off with plastic sheeting which resulted in very minimal dust throughout the remainder of the house. Touchups and finish work were completed. The project was completed to the quoted schedule. We are very pleased."

"Alex installed about 400 sq.ft. of ceramic tile in my kitchen area. They did an excellent job installing the new floor. They had some difficulty removing the old floor(2 layers of vinyl sheet), but once they got past some initial problems they did a very nice job completely removing the old floor. Alex is a real artist when it comes to cutting tile. Alex does in one piece what others would do in 2 or 3 pieces. There were no money issues either. The price he gave me was the final price. It took a little longer than expected, but it was worth it."

"This review is of our contractor, The Groutsmith PA-NJ. The job involved removing and replacing the river stone floor of our shower that had deteriorated since being installed 12 years ago. While this contractor could have pursued a much more costly solution to replacing the floor, he decided to do the job in a equally effective but less costly manner. He save us a lot of money and we are so pleased with the results! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this contractor to do any tile repair or replacement work you may have in your home."

"We have a historical restoration building in downtown Washington, D.C. We had sent out nationally 75 bids for period construction and historical restoration work. This job included replication or historical tiles in all bathrooms and also replication of historical tiles in all hallways. Also the replication/repair of period wooden windows, which were rotted, also floors needed structural repairs made. There was a large amount of decorative plaster relief work, which had to be repaired, and molds made to replicate areas that were non-existent. The exterior had a great deal of masonry repair work which included repointing of all brick and stone work. Also included in the exterior of this job was stone carvings that needed repair/replacement.
