"I wanted the tile laid a certain way, they wouldn't do it- claiming it would void the warranty (?). I challenged that, then they told me there were not enough tiles and it would take a week to get more. I showed them the pattern would work. They said to call my salesman, which I did and he was less than receiving who said he would have his supervisor call me- who never did. Because I had an out of town guest coming, I gave in. Tile looks good, but it wasn't what I wanted."

But to replace the entire kitchen's tile work with Formica or granite would have been extremely expensive and would have looked weird with our older wood cabinets. We thought maybe by getting some Mexican tile laid in to the damaged area and a new stainless steel sink, we could save some money and retain the old house charm.
