Comment: The scope of the job is this: I worked with a contractor to remove the existing wood flooring. On his advice we stiffened/blocked from the bottom/underneath the house in the crawl space, any areas that flexed or appeared to be suspect in the existing subfloor. High spots in the four were planed down to level floor as much as possible. The joists below are two by six on 14” centers, the home was built in 1943. That contractor also laid the Hardy backer board which was installed with adhesive and attached with screws per the manufacturer specs on 8 inch centers. The person I normally use for my tile work is not currently available for my job. Home is currently vacant with the lock box on it for access. It is approx. 252 square feet of tile. Comment: We had tree trimmers come and trim our pine tree. The sap from the tree dripped onto our concrete (I covered up what I could before the sap came down, but there is still hardened sap drippings. I would like for the sap to be removed from the concrete without chemicals or at least non-toxic/safe around children and pets. We also have a few stains on the concrete that I hope someone can remove as well. I think a power washer that can run very hot water through it may work and loosen the hardened sap. (although not sure) Also, concrete has been colored a light beige.
