Melvin responded in person to my emergency call after the recent tornado (microburst) in Olney took out six of the large, old trees in my yard. One of the trees was hanging over the deck and threatened to create more damage to my house if not skillfully removed. Axcobar showed up with a fabulous crew and a couple of trucks with shredders attached. These folks worked tirelessly over two days to cut, shred, and remove the trees that fell and the ones that were damaged and still standing. "I contacted five tree removal services for estimates. Richard's Tree Care was the only one who has yet to provide me with an estimate. I do not know what the problem is. I initially attempted to establish an appointment by using the online form on their website. After three or four days of not hearing from them, I decided to contact them by telephone. I did get hold of someone and set up an appointment. The guy came out. Took my list of what was to be done. We went around the yard discussing each tree. At the end, he said he would email me the estimate. I asked if he had my email address. He assured me that the office had it and my telephone number. I waited five days; emailed the office, and still have not heard from them. But, I had to move on. I believe that I gave them ample time to respond, but they chose not to or their communication system is not operating properly. Don't know. Don't care at this point."
