"Excellent service. The pruning of the 2nd oak tree and the Hawthorne tree was done one day, and all other work done the next day. The 4-person crew was very professional, kind, and respectful of the property. The large oak I had removed was right up against a new fence, and not far from the side of my house. And, it was not in an area to get a bucket truck nearby. They arrived right on time at the start of the day and worked hard with minimal breaks - very impressive. They ground the stump from the large oak as well as grinding a couple of leftover stumps from previously removed holly trees. Their cleanup was superb! They even blew stuff off the top of my roof! And the wood cut down was nicely rolled together - not just dumped into a large messy clump! And, they were cheaper than another bid I got from a company here on Angie. I cannot recommend them high enough."

"My call for service was answered by a very friendly and responsive representative.  The next day, the owner, Thomas Burke, came to find out about my job.   I told him I was concerned about branches of two very tall trees falling in a wind storm.  One tree was between my house and the neighbors the other tree was down by the pubic sidewalk.  Mr. Burke assessed the situation and said the trees were healthy, but pointed out some large branches that he recommended removing.  (4 limbs on one tree and a large section at the fork of the other tree).
Mr. Burke was very friendly as well and took time to answer all my questions.  He made me feel that my job was important.  He gave me a bid at that time and told me I can have the Angie's list 5% discount off of the quote.  We scheduled the date.   Promptly in the morning Mr. Burke and his crew arrived.  One man climbed each tree.  There were also men on the ground who helped.  They worked efficiently and very carefully.  This was very important as there were electric wires, parked cars and our homes to watch out for.
When the men were finished (took only a couple of hours), they removed the branches and cleaned up very nicely.

One tree toppled from the weight of a freak April snowfall, and another tree had a large limb that was partially broken and hanging over a fence, also from the weight of the snow. They did an absolute great job, and they did not leave any branches or leaves behind to show the work had been done. "I have used Pacific NW Arborist's twice now. The first time, they removed two large fir trees, a maple tree, and a willow tree. The fir trees required the use of a crane. They spent one day delimbing the fir trees and removing the maple and willow. They returned with a crane to remove the remainder of the fir trees. All went very well and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess. The second time I used their services, they removed a large pine tree that had begun to lean and posed a threat of falling over. It took them about an hour to climb, delimb, remove, and clean up. Very pleased with their effort. All in all, I would highly recommend Pacific NW Arborists; very professional and reliable."
