"Cut down three pines, did some serious trimming on two large maples, and ground one stump from a previous downed tree. Excellent, quality work! Clean-up service was amazing. They came well prepared with all equipment on hand to do the job. Very professional and well priced. So glad we found them!"

"They removed lower limbs from a maple tree to get the lift in. Removed two 12-inch tree trunks from my mobile home roof and a damaged smaller tree. Disposed of all. Secured a tarp over the holes in my roof. Could not have gone better. Highly recommend !"

"I was impressed how hard Matt and his crew of 4 worked. They were kind and professional and trimmed and shaped the tall trees in my front and back yard. Being I’m kind of fussy with my yard , I noticed a single small branch was missed in the top of a tree. No problem, his climber hustled up the tree and cut it off. Now that is good service. I’ll hire them again."

"They did a very good job removing and trimming up my trees. They cleaned up after themselves and kept me informed on what was happening throughout the process. It took longer than expected since one of the trees was found to be damaged and required additional equipment. They made sure they finished as quickly as possible without causing any inconvenience to me."

"Josh removed 24 stumps of varying diameter from 18" to 3 feet in a little more than an hour. His price is quite reasonable. Josh is a professional and friendly young man. I plan on calling him again when I drop some more trees."

"I had such a great experience with Big Lake Tree service! They removed a large tree and ground down the stump, the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The crew was professional, efficient and left the yard spotless! It’s hard to find people who take this much pride in doing their work. Palm tree removal expenses range from $150 to $1,500, with pricing primarily determined by the tree's height and accessibility. Removing taller specimens requires specialized equipment and safety protocols, pushing costs toward the upper end of this range. Stump grinding represents an additional expense of $175 to $550 if needed. Obtaining multiple removal estimates helps ensure competitive pricing for your specific situation.
Palm growth rates vary considerably by species, with most gaining approximately one to two feet annually under favorable conditions. You'll notice substantial development within three to five years after planting. Many varieties reach their characteristic appearance within seven to 10 years. The aesthetic enhancement to your property increases progressively as the palm matures, potentially adding considerable curb appeal and landscape value.
Several palm varieties demonstrate impressive cold tolerance for non-tropical environments. The needle palm ranks among the hardiest options, capable of surviving brief temperature drops to surprisingly low levels. Depending on size and availability, cold-resistant varieties cost between $100 and $300. Strategic placement in protected locations and appropriate winter protection measures significantly improve survival rates in challenging climates.
Professional palm trimming services cost between $100 and $1,500 per tree. This wide price range reflects variations in palm height, frond density, and access challenges. Taller specimens require specialized equipment and greater safety precautions, significantly increasing service costs. Most palm varieties benefit from annual or semi-annual maintenance to remove dead fronds and seed pods while maintaining an attractive appearance.
