"I am extremely happy with every part of the experience with the Louver Shop. The salesman was prompt, courteous and very informative. The installer, Joe, was meticulous, very neat and clean with the installation. The plantation shutters are beautiful and I will definitely purchase more for the windows on the back of my house in the near future. The price was r=very reasonable. I am happy to highly recommend The Louver Shop"

"Budget Blinds of Mansfield were one of the 3 companies we had out to review our needs and give us an estimate. Not only were they the least expensive of the 3, but they were also the most transparent, friendly, and easiest to work with. They brought the largest selection of samples, from basic colors and styles to really quite ornate options. They were very responsive to our questions and worked with us to get our windows covered stylishly within the budget we had established. Once the order was placed, they kept us updated on the progress of the manufacturing cycle. Once the blinds were complete, we scheduled an installation time that was met exactly. Installation went seamlessly, and the blinds (3" wood slats) and shades (blackouts in the bedrooms, in colors matching our paint scheme) look awesome. When we are ready to update the blinds in the main family room to something a bit more extravagant (its a long-term goal, but goals are important, right?), Budget Blinds of Mansfield will be the first place we contact."

"I couldn’t be more satisfied with the TV mounting service. From start to finish, the experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. Jovani A. Lara arrived on time, came fully prepared, and took the time to ensure the TV was mounted securely, perfectly leveled, and positioned exactly where I wanted it. Jovani and Jose were very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and even offered helpful suggestions for the best viewing angle and cable management. The work area was kept clean, and everything was done with great attention to detail. My TV looks amazing and feels extremely secure. If you’re looking for high-quality, reliable TV mounting done right the first time, I highly recommend this service with Jovani and his team! Truly excellent work!"
Custom window treatments cost $800 per window, ranging from $150 to $3,000 for materials alone, before labor is factored in. Blinds are the most economical option, while custom curtains and drapes are more expensive due to intricate designs and premium materials. The final cost depends on your style preferences, material quality, and the complexity of the installation.
Mini blinds are the most cost-effective window treatment available, providing efficient light control and exceptional value. They offer the lowest cost option at $600 per set and serve as a dependable solution for budget-conscious homeowners. Roller shades and valances offer cost savings by avoiding premium materials, ensuring that quality design and functional installations remain uncompromised.
Prices increase with larger windows, premium materials, and additional labor for complex installations. High-grade fabrics, hardwoods, intricate designs, and motorized hardware all contribute to the total cost. For instance, drapes run more than Roman shades because they use more fabric and detailing. Still, a well-chosen treatment pays you back in style, privacy, and insulation.
Layering treatments—say, a sheer shade paired with floor-length drapes—adds depth and polish to any room. Sticking to one color family keeps the look cohesive while mixing textures boosts dimension, sound absorption, and energy efficiency. You also gain flexible light control, shifting from full sun to total blackout without swapping hardware.
Energy-efficient window treatments lower energy costs by minimizing heat transfer through advanced fabric technology and design. They block excessive sunlight while maintaining a consistent indoor temperature, thereby reducing the demand on heating and cooling systems. They retain heat in winter and keep your home cool in summer, maintaining year-round comfort and producing measurable savings on electric bills through superior energy management.
Bay, picture, and dormer windows rarely pair well with shutters because their unique shapes demand more flexible coverings. For a cleaner fit and better performance, choose treatments tailored to those dimensions—think custom shades, drapes, or valances that accentuate the architecture instead of competing with it.
