Let me start off by saying that the overall experience was good. For the most part Integrity Roofing treated us well during the entire process. Communication was excellent and their staff was very responsive whenever I had questions or concerns. There were a few bumps which I will cover later.

Our roof was damaged during a hail storm. When I called Integrity Roofing, it took them a few weeks to get someone out for an estimate. The delay was understandable due to the sudden workload they experienced after the hail storm.  When Integrity Roofing reviewed my insurance estimate, they agreed to replace the roof, a few of the screens, window beading and other items on the  insurance quote for the amount the insurance company was going to give us (minus our deductible of course). Integrity Roofing would also throw in a few upgrades like a drip edge.

So we were all set.  Due to some bad weather and their workload, the work on the roof did not happen for another month. Kind of a drag but understandable.  When they did show up, the roof replacement phase only took 2 days. Very quick and the quality of the work was fine. The roof felt was replaced with all new 25 year shingles, drip edges and rain diverters. Great work!

Now the bumps.  I have a satellite dish on the house. While the roof was being replaced, I setup a spare satellite dish in the yard on a tripod so I would not be without service.  When the roof work started, the crew was instructed to disconnect the wires, remove the DirecTV satellite dish from the roof and place the dish on the ground next to house so the DirecTV tech could come out and put the dish back on the house.  For some reason they did not understand these instructions. When they saw the extra dish in the yard, they assumed the dish on the house was scrap so they basically ripped the dish from the roof and threw if off the roof with cables still connected. The cables tore off the siding on the way down and the dish was completely destroyed when it hit the ground. Really bad form and not very professional.  I immediately called a supervisor and he came out to take a look. He apologized and agreed to pay for any damages. After I talked to him, they had a little gathering in the front yard. I didn?t hear the discussion but I hope he was instructing his contractors to not do that sort of thing again.

Another bump was with the contractor who was hired to replace our damaged window beading. They did a really sloppy job. As of this writing, we are still trying to get them out to fix their work. Integrity Roofing really needs to monitor their subcontractors more closely to make sure their work is on par.

We had some delays and a few issues but as a whole, the work was satisfactory and I would recommend Integrity Roofing to anyone needing a new roof. They are a local company which is a very important factor. Do not hire contractors who magically show up from out of town after a hail storm. They will promise you a new roof with no deductible payout (which means they cut corners) and then suddenly disappear after the work is done.  Integrity Roofing is located here in town, their prices are reasonable, and the work quality is good. Recommended but as always, it?s a good idea to keep an eye on them while they do the work."
