"The technician showed up a bit later than the scheduled time; however, was able to perform the job very quickly, in probably 10-15 minutes.  I called them because my garage door was frequently jamming and not opening.  This service solved the problem.  
The technician recommended additional replacement of the bottom rollers (which was not part of the package I bought) and replacement of the pulley system.  Since I'll likely replace the whole door system and lift next year, I only opted for the bottom rollers.
It would have been nice if they added more cleaning as part of the job -- I somewhat expected that as part of the "reconditioning" package.  Nevertheless, they performed well on the mechanical aspects of the job.

"Everything went excellent.  The estimator came out to my house and arrived right when he said he would.  He took a quick stroll around the house and measured the windows.  He gave me a quick pitch on the quality of the windows and then the price.  There wasn't any games or trying to up sell me on silly things like some of the other vendors.  Later that week the installers came out and did a much more through measurement of the windows and told me the job would take about six hours to complete. 
A couple weeks later I was called to say the windows had arrived and I scheduled them to come out later that week.  The installers arrived on time and went straight to work.  One thing I will say is the installers do A LOT of work.  I was a little worried through the process they were going to leave things unfinished, but they took care of everything before telling me they were finished.  As you are going through the process, keep the faith, it will all get finished.  They finished in about six and half hours, which is because one original window was installed improperly and they had a little extra work on it. 
I would not hesitate to recommend Supreme Window and Door to any of my neighbours, friends or family. 
On a side note, the first guy that came out to my house suggested that I get a triple pane window in what will be the nursery.  I decided to trust him and it was a great decision.  After the new window was installed I looked out it behind my house and saw some of the neighbourhood kids playing in the backyard.  It took me a second to realize I couldn't hear them!  The extra pane really cut down on the sound and I'm very glad he talked me into it.

"We got 3 quotes and American Windows had the most competitive quote; especially, replacing our 1940s front entry. When we ordered the windows/door back in May, Mike said that it would take 4-5 months for Pella to manufacture the windows. The windows were completed and shipped in 4 months. The installation team said it might take 1-2 days to install, but they were completed in single day. They were professional and friendly (they actually let our kids into the house while we were busy on zoom call). They carefully removed the old 1940s solid oak door and sidelights without damaging elliptical transom. The color/style matching to existing front entry was amazing. They cleaned up inside and outside the house and made sure all the windows were sealed properly. They discovered that 4 of the screens were damaged, so they told us that they would replace the screens at no-cost. I would recommend this company for anyone who is looking to replace their old windows with wooden (not vinyl) replacements."

"Nikos the salesperson was very professional and helpful. Nikos suggestions were very informative in regards to the type of the doors that would fit perfectly for this type of older house. Nikos worked with us in drafting several contracts before we were able to finalized the contract and the start date. The measuring department informed us that the doors needed to be customized and special order. The installation was schedule for (2) days. However, Oscar and his professional crew started around 8:30 am and was able to completed the job around 7:00 pm. The installation went well since the crew was working on a older house. The installation crew section off the work area and did a complete clean up of the work area. Thank you Hammer and Nail Exteriors for doing a great job!

"Elite responded promptly to my Angie's List post, and sent out a technician the same day. John, the technician, provided a thorough analysis of what was wrong with my door, and gave me three repair options to choose from. The other 2 companies to give me bids only spoke of the immediate problem with the door, not taking into account that the system operating it was over 20 years old. Had I chosen either of them, my door would have been operational, but because of its age, would no doubt be in need of additional service a few years down the road. While Elite's bid was the highest, I feel confident that I made the best choice in hiring them to repair my garage door. Not only was John professional, polite, and punctual, he very patiently explained the purpose and function of all the new hardware he installed, as well as how to keep the garage door opening and closing smoothly for years to come. And Elite's 10-year warranty was also a key selling point. All in all, I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of this type of service. "When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."
