"DMV Kitchen and Bath RECOMMENDATION 2023 March In December 2022-January 2023, DMV Kitchen and Bath completely gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms for me (foundation, pipes, electric – everything). In addition, they restored several 110 year-old door transoms, installed new doors (5 panel solid wood) throughout the house, upgraded some woodwork, installed two pocket doors, and painted a few rooms. We used high quality materials throughout, not builder-grade. This is the third time I’ve asked DMV Kitchen and Bath to do a major renovation in one of my properties over the last 10 years. Each time they have done superior work when it comes to: • Doing service properly on first try • Promptness • Letting you know cost early • Neatness of work • Pleasantness • Advice on service options and costs • Overall quality • Prices I cannot recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath more highly. All three times, it’s been a hassle-free experience with excellent results. They’ve exceeded my (high) expectations every time."

Al was our PM for the demolition and build-out phases. Al had the challenge as PM to coordinate demolition, new flooring on 1st level, electrical changes, cabinet installs and new fixtures that we purchased. They installed new disposal and ceiling fixture at no charge. No change orders on project. No gaps on work sequence. Finished in half of the contracted days. Great company, designer and PM."

"7/29/2015 I needed a company certified to do removal of the front door of my house due to lead contamination. I contacted John Krause Construction company and they were very fast to respond to my request. John came out the very next day and came up with an estimate that day. Jen Contacted me about a day and time that would be convenient for me for the door to be installed. Paul and his crew came exactly when Jen said they would and the door, trim ect. were installed and it was like magic-old door was gone and new door in place. "We actually hired J Hoss for two jobs, and they did a great job with both! Both were tricky operations involving the plumbing of an old beach house, and they came up with effective ways of dealing with every issue. The hot water heater install involved moving an old hot water heater out of a crawlspace and putting a new one in in a closet, and the plumbing lines were a bit wacky due to the way the cottage had been added onto over time. But they solved the problems without tearing out any walls, which was great. The other job involved a DIY project installing a bathroom vanity that we got halfway through before realizing we were over our heads. They were game and jumped right in and worked with us to complete the job. We loved how they collaborated with us and were so cheerful about our amateur efforts! Definitely will hire again."
