"I do not remember the name of the outfit we used a few years ago...but Charlie at The Chimney Sweep Co blew them away on Service and Quality!!! Scheduling went smooth. Charlie called the day prior to confirm. Charlie showed just before his arrival window. Who does that...usually it is 5 minutes before the window closes! Charlie was also very pleasant and I had no difficulties allowing him access into my residence. It was nice that Charlie did not mind me asking questions or hovering. Personally I feel as if Charlie took care of me and my family just as I take care of my Clients!"

"<strong>David took action when noticing repairs I needed and created my trust.</strong> <br /> David of A-1 Chimney came to my door and told me he was doing work in the area and noticed that my chimney needed repairs. I was told this when I had my chimney swept and the cap replaced years ago, and couldn't afford it at the time. I said I don't deal with people who come to my door because of unpleasant experiences, just go by friends' recommendations and Angie's List. When he said he's on Angie's List, I dashed to my computer to check him out. He had excellent reviews, so I decided to go with it. He explained very clearly what had to be done to make the repairs and how much each part would cost. He did the repairs right then; it was great not to have to schedule another time. When he swept the chimney, he thoroughly taped off the fireplace so there would be no soot in the house, totally cleaned out the fireplace, made sure there was no dirt left after cleaning up - and fixed the stuck damper without charging. Not only did he stick to his quoted prices, which I found quite reasonable, when I asked about replacing the cap because I thought it was large and unattractive, he said it was of good quality and I shouldn't change it. When he tried to re-cement the door at the base of the chimney for removing ashes and that didn't work because it would be more complex to repair, he told me what I could obtain to fix it another way. <br /> <strong>Efficient follow-up</strong> <br /> He said he'd be back in the area in a few days and would check the concrete work he'd done on top of the chimney to make sure it hadn't cracked, so he could do repairs if required. He did come by and it was still perfect. <br /> <strong>Not only is he thorough, courteous and professional, when I was ready to have him do more, he was honest rather than take advantage of my open wallet!</strong> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We wanted our air ducts cleaned for a home we purchased.  The ducts were very dirty.  I could reach my hand in and grab a bunch of dirt...yuck.   <br /> I got about 4 estimates and Jose from West Chimney was the least expensive and had some good reviews so decided to go with Jose. <br /> Jose stayed in good communication with me during the bid process, scheduling and then actually coming out to do the work. He was on time, and very friendly.   <br /> Based on the number of ducts we had, Jose estimated he would be done by about noon.  Well the dirt had other plans.  Jose realized how much work was going to be involved and let us know he would not be done by the original estimated time.  Instead he finished at about 4pm!  I don't think he even had lunch.  He stuck with his estimate for the final cost and the ducts and fireplace looked amazing.  We gave him a little extra due to the difficulty of the job.   <br /> Although our ducts will never get as dirty as they were, we would definitely use Jose again for duct cleaning or fireplace work.  <br /> <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service.
