"From start to finish First Fence was responsive & clear. They walked the property to discuss what we wanted. Made some suggestions for a better outcome, then sent an agreement with all of the details for us to sign. We paid a deposit in order to secure our time on their schedule, then paid the balance after the fence was installed. They also removed & discarded the old fence. All completed in one day. I really want to give 4.5 stars. A half star off for the length of time it took for them to come back and replace/adjust the gate, as the wood warped and it wouldn’t open. That took a month. All fixed now."

"From the beginning I was concerned. The person giving me an estimate was supposed to arrive at 8:00. I had taken off of work and it was drizzling but not enough to cause anyone to not be able to give an estimate. I called him at 7:45 to see what time he thought he would arrive. I woke him up and he said he could not come, that he had to go into the office that day. So I immediately called the office. She said she would be right back with me and within 5 minutes, he called and said he was on his way. He showed up and was a very nice young man, took all the measurements and in about a week, I got and estimate. They were able to come when I needed them to but the lead on the job spoke very little English and was not all that pleasant. I was home the first day, thankfully, as they were supposed to put in a 4 ft. gate. When I saw it, I asked him if a 4 ft. gate would fit and he said no, that was for a 3 ft. gate. So I called Kristen and she called him. He was able to change it but if I'd not been watching, I'd have a 3 ft. gate. The fence looks fine, except one board was not nailed in and they put my gate on backwards. (I was not there the next day so wasn't watching them). I called the owner to discuss and he told me that was the way that gate worked. I told him my other gate opened out, why can't this one. I said now every time I open the gate, it pushes the pinestraw aside and you enter on mud. He said he would send someone to check it out and supposedly, they cut some off the bottom of my gate. Didn't help. I called him back and he said he would come by and look at it, but he never did. I just told him to forget it, I would get someone to hammer in the board and I guess I just have to live with the gate. That was so unprofessional, that you spend that much money and don't get what you want!"

"I am very happy with my fence. It took a few weeks to get the installers out to the site, but once they were there, the installers were very impressive. They put up the fence in one day, working non-stop through a thunderstorm. I don't think much of the crew spoke English, but it wasn't a problem. They did a top notch job. The fence is very well constructed and sturdy. Everyone who comes to visit comments on our fence and says how nice it looks."

Very easy to work with and accommodate our wants/needs, and took the time to think about how we were using our fence and the aesthetics of it on our property. I had a ‘larger’ more complex project mixing both a nice looking fence and a barnyard fencing area. They would often call me at the end of the day to make recommendations for the following days’ work if they thought something would work more functionally or would look better."

"They charge $95 just to come to the house. An outrageous amount. Then, they charge $60/hour for service. When the technician showed up, she didn't have the part with her because the dispatcher failed to provide her with the information on our system prior to her leaving the warehouse. Strike one. Then, after analyzing our issue (our cat has outsmarted the fence), she spent 20 minutes in the car speaking with dispatch. (Remember? They charge $60 per hour. Seems I could have made the call in about 3 minutes.) A quote came back for the service call and device, $265!! Meanwhile, Angie's List has a posted discount of 5% for this company, and they claimed that they were unaware of any deal, and were quite rude about it. I challenged them to simply check online and not to take my word for it. The company reluctantly decided to provide me with a $15 discount, which seemed disingenuous, since the price for the call and product was astronomical, anyway. In short, if you haven't installed your electronic pet fence, run, don't walk, to another provider. <br />"

"<p>Professionalism is lacking with this firm.  Work was done as promised.  Four or five months after its completion, I made a warranty claim.  It has taken more than three months to resolve.</p> <p>#1) Wait – wait –wait – warranty work is not given any priority.   The associate in charge of scheduling actually left me a voice mail stating this policy!</p> <p>#2) Scheduled an appointment to make the repairs and no one showed up nor did anyone call. I did receive a prompt apology once I called the next day asking why was I stood up.</p> <p>#3) Sent a repairman out who could make only one of two needed repairs – wrong supplies -- even though their procedure for warranty work requires a site visit and a written statement of work approved by me.</p> <p>#4) I came home from work one evening (June 2016) to find the second repair completed.  I was pleased it was done after more than three months of waiting.  I also felt violated because there was no scheduled appointment.  </p> <p> </p> <p>I did consider complaining about the intrusion onto my property.  However I suspected the complaint would fall on deaf ears because the owner has yet to answer my direct inquiry to him.  As I started this review, professionalism is lacking with this firm and I cannot recommend.</p>"
