"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"I learned about the company after receiving a flyer about them in the mail. They were much better priced than other retailers because they are a direct importer. They completed the installation. Throughout the process, it was clear that they had expertise in the area of granite installation. They were very helpful with helping me make any selections for the specific layout of the granite. "Company seemed professional and eager to help with our problem.  Promises of quality work were made.  Open-ended estimate given due to unknown seriousness of problem.  Also open-ended time frame given for same reason. Original time frame was a week to ten days, and it took 4 weeks. Problem was worse than originally thought.  They did a great job tearing out and rebuilding floor and walls, cleaning up and hauling away debris.  We were very happy with the progress up to this point.   Unfortunately, something went wrong with the sealing of the marble tile on the floor and in the shower, which made it necessary to strip the sealer and buff the tile. At first they tried just polishing the tile, which didn't take off the sealer. Then they  used a stripper, which caused the original sheen on the tile to be marred.  In most of the shower, the old sealer was not totally removed. They came back more than once to fix the problem and left with the problem not properly taken care of, as well as care  not being taken to prevent dust from getting all over the bedroom and the rest of the house. They offered to come back again, but by then we had enough of the mess the polishing was making in our house.  We also lacked confidence that they could fix the problem.  Also, in some places the grout was not done well with voids and gaps in it.  I had to clean old sealer off shower tile and re-grout places on the floor where grout was missing.  The marring of the tile from the stripper can still be seen, however.  We paid the full amount billed with no argument.  The project started with such high expectations but ended up with a sour taste in our mouth due to over promising and under performance."

"I thought they were knowledgeable and willing to help. They were not always punctual at getting back to me; I had to call them to keep things moving. They pretty much knew their stuff and sub-contracted stone countertops with another company. The stone countertop company had to come in behind the cabinet guys and redo some things. They had to tell the cabinet company they needed more support in several places. Their price was not bad."
