"First, we went to Vintage Stone's location to look at the granite Eric had, there was a very nice remnant that would be big enough for the job. They held that special piece for us until we were ready to have Eric come and make the template of the fireplace. Eric came out took some measurements and gave us the estimate. He then made the template (which is interesting to watch). <br /> Time was not a factor for us, we were out of town and doing other renovations, so we told him there was no rush on the job. After a few weeks (after our schedule cleared up), we called to let him know that anytime he was ready to put it in, was good with us. <br /> Yesterday, Eric and two of his guys came and prepared the fireplace and put in the most beautiful granite covering. I cannot say in words what a transformation that was. It went from yuck to WOW. <br /> Eric (the owner), and everyone that works at Vintage Stone is friendly, knowledgeable and just plain good people. This is the second fireplace Eric has done for us, the other is in my kitchen and we get so many compliments from visitors. Eric also did our kitchen countertops around the same time, which are wonderful too. So, this is the 3rd time he has done work for us. He is all about quality and satisfying his customers.. Also, his estimates have always been right on the penny. I said this in my first review of Vintage Stone; Eric does what he says, at the price that he says and when he says. "Originally we planned to only do 2 bathrooms downstairs and the laundry room but they were so great to work with that we did all 6 bathrooms. We researched 4 other granite suppliers but KJ Natural Stones had the best selection and good value. We were very pleased with the recommendations made by Oscar. Nanfer took us to the supplier warehouse for a specific selection in our master bath and we love it!"

One part of the kitchen counter top was done as one long piece...no seams!...and as it curves we thought it would be in two pieces so we were very happy. The job was done on time and very professionally. We went to the ProStone display in Winston Salem and Russ was very helpful in assisting us. and was able to give us an estimate that was right on! We also went to the warehouse in Greensboro and looked at slabs of granite there and chose one we loved. Adam was extremely good at helping us plan the cutting to fit our sinks for the best look. We took a sample home and set up the time for the job. Paul and his team were excellent in the installation and everything fit perfectly. We had received estimates from other companies and checked out the "big box" stores and were happy to have gone with Pro Stone. They even recommended a plumber to install the faucets who was very good. All in all a very good update to our home and a very good experience. <br />"

"I had grout on my bathroom and laundry room floor that I had tried just about every product on the market to get clean with no luck. Out laundry room doubles as a mud room and we have two 130-lb dogs that go in and outside through this room and track dirt and mud in daily...the grout that I had just replaced 6 months ago was now totally stained and looked awful.  In searching for another product to try, I came across the Grout Works website and thought, what the heck, I'll get an estimate.  After speaking with John on the phone (he responded to my email inquiry within 24 hours) I was sold on the concept of Grout Works.  John told me that their process and products not only cleans the grout., but applies a sealant that matches the original color precisely and makes it impervious to dirt.  When he told me that I would never have to get on my hands and knees to scrub my floors I told him to come right over!  They came the next day.  The process took less than 2 hours and I am blown away by the results.  My floors look brand new again.  They were also able to get rust stains from a metal container off the white tile.  I couldn't believe the price was so low for such a quality job (and I am a true skeptic who thinks everyone overcharges for services!).  Best of all to clean the floors now all i need to do is spray cleaner on it and wipe it up with a towel (they recommend to not mop or scrub the floors ever again...which is OK with me!)  They were totally professional, nice, friendly guys who obviously take pride in their work.  I recommend this service to anyone who is tired of putting up with less than perfect tile and grout.  My only regret is that I put up with the ugly floors for so long!  I am so completely sold on this service that I am looking into buying a franchise!!"
