"We contacted Nick a few months before getting started on a project to renovate our upstairs bathroom and install a half-bath in the basement. He came out and gave us a great estimate, even after we changed some of the particulars. The agreement basically was that we'd provide all of the fixtures (vanities, lights, paint, tile, etc.) and he'd provide the labor and basic construction supplies (drywall, wiring, lumber, etc.) as part of his bill. Nick's approach was a little less formal than the other contractors we brought it, which took a little getting used to, but as with any renovation project, you're left with the work and the bill and both were outstanding. Once he got started, he moved very quickly. Upstairs, Nick demo-ed the old bathroom to the studs, installed shower and floor tile, beadboard for the walls, installed new water fixtures and bathroom vanity. Downstairs he framed in the area around an old toilet rough-in and water lines to create a nice half bath. He installed a toilet on a tricky decline and a utility vanity. He also painted both areas. Really in about two weeks he was finished when other contractors told us it would take months. Even when there was an issue with carpet in our basement getting ruined during the work, Nick stepped up to help us replace it without any hesitation. We'd recommend Nick without any reservation and hope he can work with us again on future projects. He does a quality job done quickly and for a great price."

"We invested an inordinate amount of time pursuing a major project with them for a number of months as the scope of work increased. After we were almost done and on the same page, ready to sign contracts to move forward & break ground, they backed out, forcing us to start all over with a different contractor. Heard they got some other more profitable simple jobs. Although we were stunned at such unprofessional behavior, we were eventually very grateful that we feel dodged a bullet. At the end of the day, this company would have been a nightmare on such a big project. Yes, they have an extremely slick selling presentation with all kinds of high tech software and online project management promises. But they only have one local guy (who seems very nice) and the management of the company was all out of town. The local guy had no authority to make ANY decisions—had had to go to them for everything. Every single time we had to meet to review or revise the scope of work as we were putting the initial project together, we would have to wait an entire month until a manager could be in town. In hindsight, we had such a problem just getting things underway, we cannot imagine how bogged down it would have become down the road."
